now END/CLOSE on Sunday, February 15th 2015 Payment of LAUTECH Tuition Fee For

institution for the 2014/15 academic
session and are yet to complete their
registration and payment are advice to

Breaking News: Federal Polytechnic Ado- Ekiti Shut Down Indefinitely as Unions’ Strike Continues… LATEST report reaching us has it that the
management of the Federal Polytechnic,
Ado-Ekiti, (Ekitipoly) has shut down the
College indefinitely which resulted in a
mass protest by the students of the
institution. According to the report on our disposal,
we were told that Dr. Taiwo Akande,
ordered the closure of the polytechnic
following the protracted strike action by
Labour Unions in the institution.
Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic,
ASUP, the Non-Academic Staff Union
and the Senior Staff Union of Nigeria
Polytechnics of Federal polytechnic Ado
Ekiti has been on strike protesting
against Akande’s leadership style which they said was against their interest.
(what secret interest??) We were told that the closure was a mid-
semester break for its full-time
programme and directed all full time
students to return home with immediate
effect and await further instruction
