CAN WE JUST REFLECT, PLEASE!

We can pretend that it is the fault of anybody sitting in A*o Rock in Abuja. People blamed Buhari for eight years and, because many still refuse to reflect honestly, they are now blaming Tinubu, who has been in office for barely three years.

But let us even assume, for the sake of argument, that the Tinubu Government, and before it the Buhari, Jonathan, Yar’Adua, and Obasanjo Governments, were among the worst administrations in human history — how does that justify people raising children who later become mindless criminals?

Human beings gave birth to these monsters. The communities they grew up in had parents, leaders, scholars, and elders who failed in their responsibilities. Rather than focusing on correcting their homes and communities, many were busy with other things. Even now, they still refuse to take responsibility and would rather blame one man in Abuja for everything.

This is an indictment on the Muslim Ummah. We have allowed parts of our community to breed godless criminals with no regard for what Islam teaches about morality, justice, and the sanctity of human life.

In the South, many of our youths are drifting into fraud and moral decadence. In the North, others are becoming hardened and violent criminals. These problems did not begin in A*o Rock; they began in homes, streets, schools, non-functioning mosques, and communities where proper Islamic upbringing and moral discipline were neglected.

Our children are growing up under the influence of a corrupt and materialistic society because too many adults failed to become worthy role models. Islam teaches responsibility, discipline, honesty, compassion, and accountability before Allah. When parents abandon those duties, communities eventually reap the consequences.

May Allah make it easy for you all to live your lives by the teachings of the Qur'an, bless your future halal endeavors, protect you from the tricks of Shaytan and reward your parents with goodness in this life and Paradise on the day of judgment.

As many students in Nigeria have concluded their UTME and have seen their results, we encourage parents of Muslim students to enroll their children with us at Ali Institute for Qur'an Memorization, Ibadan while awaiting admissions to memorize the Book of Allah (Qur'an) and learn about Islamic Morals, values and Etiquette and know more about what our Creator has made lawful and forbidden.

Remember this is the last opportunity for them to learn these before they get to Tertiary Institutions where they will become independent and may not have any other opportunity to learn such again under strict supervision and guidance.

The spiritual uplift of our students is very paramount to us. We do not only teach Quran Memorization, we also impact the fear of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet in them.

It's no more news that many are learned in different aspects of Islamic Education but very few put them into practice with the fear of Allah.

We do not breed Memorizers of the Quran who do not act according to the Quran and Sunnah thereby tarnishing the image of Islam through their speech and actions. We catch our students young, groom them to maturity with sound morals while training them to become good ambassadors of Islam with the cooperation of their parents.

AIQM... memorization with righteousness

Giving the children only Western Education without ideal Islamic knowledge is like having a tyreless vehicle. When it's time to move, there will definitely be problem.

Parents of yesterday were mostly NO NONSENSE parents. They never condone laziness, mediocrity, indiscipline and unrighteousness. There's always a consequence for almost every wrongdoing. Before you can be appreciated, you are definitely outstanding! Most of today's parents don't want to hurt their children at all. When you have people assisting you in raising your children to ensure they are great in life by Allah's permission, please you can't pay them enough, they are using up their body, soul and life if only you understand. You will continue to have the glory, they are forever your children and can NEVER be that of their teachers.
