We are glad to announce that the portal is now opened for the commencement of the 2026/2027 admission process into all our courses.

Interested applicant must:
1. have sat for the 2026 UTME.
2. have scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
3. be 16 years old by the time of application or will be 16 years old or 30th September, 2026.
4. meet the required UTME subject combination for the course of choice.
5. have made Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, their first choice or change the institution to Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, if they did not chose at at first.

🏆 VICTORY FOR THE PCU LIONS! 🦁⚽

What a match today, Saturday, 16 May, 2026!

In a thrilling, pulse-pounding football encounter today, the PCU, Ibadan, football team proved their mettle again, by defeating their hosts, Dominion University (DU), Ibadan, in a highly competitive Football Tournament held in honor of their esteemed Chancellor, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun. Other Universities involved in the tournament are McPherson University and Abiola Ajimobi Technical University.

It was a battle of tactics, defensive discipline, and sheer willpower. First Half ended goalless, with high intensity. DU pushed hard with 11 shots, but our defense stood like a rock, and our goalkeeper made crucial saves to keep a clean sheet.

It was also goalless at Full-Time. PCU Lions stepped up their offensive drive, testing the hosts with 4 shots on target. Despite a staggering 18 shots overall from DU, our tactical discipline and unrelenting spirit kept them completely at bay.

🎯 The dramatic penalty shootout was a tense, sudden-death shootout. It was a test of nerves, and our boys showed absolute composure from the spot! With 8 successful spot-kicks against Dominion's 7, the PCU Lions claimed a magnificent Semi-final victory on host territory!

We shall clash with McPherson University for the Final next Saturday, 23 May, 2026.

At PCU, Ibadan, we do not just build academic giants; we nurture champions in sports, leadership, and character.

This victory is another testament to the dedication, sportsmanship, and' never-say-die' attitude of our students.

We extend our gratitude to our hosts, Dominion University, for a fantastic competition and honor their Chancellor, through this wonderful display of collegiate sportsmanship.

🏆 PCU Ranks 2nd Overall Best🏅

On Thursday, 14 May, 2026, Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan, made a bold statement at the Intervarsity Sports Competition hosted by Dominican University, Ibadan.

Competing alongside Caleb University and Crawford University, our student-athletes displayed remarkable skill, grit, and the true PCU spirit.

We are proud to announce that our champions are returning home with an impressive haul of 5 Medals:

🥇GOLD (Scrabble): A massive congratulations to our wordsmiths, Sotonwa Oluwadarasimi Faithful and Shonibare Abdulmuiz Omokunle, for clinching the top spot!

🥈 SILVER (Basketball)🏀: A stellar performance by our hoops team!

🥈 SILVER (Table Tennis)🏓 : Masterclass displays by Ayansola Selim Damilare and Taiwo Faithful.

🥉 BRONZE (Football)⚽: A hard-fought victory on the pitch!

🥉 BRONZE (Chess): Strategic brilliance from Dayomonebi Oluwasubomi Emmanuel and Ben-Maduka Paul Olisaemeka.

With all these, PCU, Ibadan, was ranked 2nd Overall Best in the competition. 🎖️🏅

Thanks to our Football Team, led by the University’s Head Coach, Mr. Muyiwa Adetipe, assisted by Pastor Olusegun Kuti, for their incredible teamwork. Huge shoutout to Morakinyo Israel (C), Ibrahim Ayomide, Esan Israel, Shonibare Muiz, and the entire squad.

Greetings to our Basketball Stars, coached by Badejo Iseoluwa Emmanuel. Appreciating Benson Adekunle (C), Ajayi David, Joshua Jae and Tabotamuno Benedict and others.

Special thanks the PCU Supporters’ Club, led by Students’ Social and Media Director, Akano Fidelity, provided the energy that fueled our athletes. The student body was ably represented by the CEC General Secretary, Duru Joseph, ensuring the PCU flag flew high throughout the event.

PCU Secures Top Three Spot at Regional Intervarsity Debate

​Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan, continues to assert its presence as a center for academic excellence, as our brilliant debaters, from the Department of Mass Communication, secured 3rd Position at the prestigious Vox Up Intervarsity Debate Competition, hosted by Lead City University on April 8, 2026.

​The event, which featured 10 universities from across Southwest Nigeria, including Babcock, Redeemer’s, Kola Daisi, and Pan-Atlantic University, served as a platform for critical discourse on the evolving role of media in the 21st century.

In the rigorous preliminary round, where our students demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, eloquence, and intellectual depth, PCU emerged as one of the final four alongside Lead City, Redeemers, and Kola Daisi University.

Our team's well-structured arguments and confident delivery in the keenly-contested final round ultimately earned us the 3rd Place, bringing home a trophy and a cash prize of ₦100,000.

While welcoming the team, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. T. O. Adejumo, alongside members of the University Management, expressed his immense pride in the students' performance. He stated that, ​"This achievement is not just about the prize, but about seeing our students compete and excel among the best in the country confirms that we are truly building world-class learners and leaders."

​Prof. Adejumo commended the department’s lecturers for their mentorship, and emphasized that the Management remains committed to providing platforms and supporting initiatives that challenge students to think critically and professionally to compete favourably with their countparts from other universities.
