The only fence against the world is a thorough knowledge of it.Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.
What we call our destiny is truly our character and that character can be altered. The knowledge that we are responsible for our actions and attitudes does not need to be discouraging, because it also means that we are free to change this destiny. One is not in bo***ge to the past, which has shaped our feelings, to race, inheritance, background. All this can be altered if we have the courage to examine how it formed us. We can alter the chemistry provided we have the courage to dissect the elements.
The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.
Because education is the backbone of a competitive workforce and successful economy, making it a priority is not uncommon and the price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
