Yesterday marked the third day of our physical class training for the Solar Photovoltaic Installation Training Programme, conducted by Ashdam Solar Academy.

The training blended practicality,and wit among our participants.

Our training instructors nurtured, waited, and corrected our ever-eager participants.

The training left room for flexibility and provided real-life hands-on experience for everyday practical use.

This experience speaks for itself, and our mission is to empower professionals who are innovators and key changemakers in the eradication of energy poverty in impoverished communities across Nigeria.

Yesterday was the second day of our physical class training for our Solar Photovoltaic *Installation Training Programme by Ashdam Solar Academy.

The energy was high, and banter was made by both our training instructors and participants to better understand and relay energy needs and transitions in Nigeria today.

Our training instructors used understandable, clear language and common-day-to-day experience to navigate complex professional solutions and energy assessments.

We also had our participants, as seen in the images attached, narrate and break down the concepts in their own language and to their own understanding with their fellow participants, with our instructors guiding them all the way.

Empowering the Next Generation of Solar Professionals

At Ashdam Solar Academy, we’re proud to welcome 22 participants who have successfully completed four weeks of virtual learning covering the principles of solar resources, basics of electricity, and safety management.

They are now joining us for two weeks of intensive hands-on training at our facility, culminating in the COREN Solar Photovoltaic Installer Certification Examination.

We’re excited to see them translate knowledge into practice as they take the next step toward becoming certified solar professionals driving clean energy adoption across Nigeria.

We’re excited to let you know that the Solar Photovoltaic Installation (SPVI) – COREN Certification Training at Ashdam Solar Academy has officially started. Participants are already onboarded, learning, and the journey has kicked off.

Because of the overwhelming interest and requests we received, management has decided to open up a few more slots for those who couldn’t register before the start date.
