A noticeably calm atmosphere has returned to Adecom College of Business and Management, following the completion of the second-semester examinations and the commencement of the students’ vacation.
The institution, which is ordinarily characterized by lectures, student interactions, academic activities and movement across the campus, appeared relatively quiet on Monday, August 10, 2026, as students began departing the school premises for the vacation period.
The development followed the conclusion of the second-semester examinations on Friday, August 7, bringing an end to weeks of intensive academic activities of 2025/2026 academic session.
With many students already leaving for their various destinations, classrooms and common areas are less occupied than usual, while movement around the campus was significantly reduced.
Some students reportedly travelled home to reunite with their families, while others made arrangements to leave the campus and hostels after completing their academic commitments.
For final-year students, the end of the examinations marked a particularly significant stage in their academic journey. Having completed their final papers, many are now looking forward to the next phase as they await the processing of their results and prepare for life beyond the institution.
The vacation also provides students with an opportunity to rest after the demanding academic session, spend time with family and friends, acquire additional skills and reflect on their academic and personal development.
Despite the reduced student population, essential administrative activities and other official operations continue within the institution.
As Adecom College enters the vacation period, students are encouraged to use the break productively while prioritising rest, personal development and adequate preparation for the next academic session.
