*Past Simple*

- Used for completed actions in the past

*Past Continuous*

- Used for actions in progress at a specific point in the past

- Examples:

- They were traveling around Europe last summer.

*Past Perfect*

- Used for actions completed before another action in the past

- Examples:

*Present Simple*

- Used for habits, routines, and general truths
- Formation: Base form of the verb (e.g., I go, she eats, they live)
- Examples:

- They live in Paris.

*Present Continuous*

- Used for actions happening now, temporary situations, and trends
- Formation: am/is/are + -ing form of the verb (e.g., I am studying, she is working, they are traveling)
- Examples:
- I am studying for my exam right now.
- She is working on a new project.
- They are traveling around the world.

*Present Perfect*

- Used for actions started in the past and continuing up to the present moment
- Formation: has/have + past participle of the verb (e.g., I have studied, she has eaten, they have lived)
- Examples:
- I have studied English for three years.
- She has just eaten lunch.
- They have lived in London for five years.

In Conclusion:

- Present Simple is for habits and general truths
- Present Continuous is for actions happening now
- Present Perfect is for actions started in the past and continuing up to the present
