And now, as promised, the process to handover our dear Alma Mater back to the Catholic and Old Boys shall begin in earnest. In the words of the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, He promised to constitute a committee to work towards this course.

The event was also blessed to have Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin, The Catholic Archbishop of Ibadan in attendance, as the Special Guest of Honour.

Yesterday being Saturday, 30th July, 2022, Loyola College, Ibadan hosted three serving Governors; Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State as the 6872 set commissioned their project, a newly built school hall (the old dinning hall) which was named after one of them, Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu, Former Secretary General of Loyola College Ibadan Old Boys Association and present Governor of Ondo State.

They also commissioned the remodelled frontal fence of the school. Top dignitaries, Old Boys, students and members of staff of the school were present.

The remodeled Loyola College Ibadan School Field (with Imported Natural Grass) and Tracks is a major boost, as this vision will bring back the strength, prestige and era of sports dominance in the state, region and across the country which Loyola College used to be known for. ⚽️🏅🏆

Yesterday, 29th April, 2022, our Alma Mater; Loyola College, Ibadan got another major infrastructural boost as Loyola College Ibadan Old Boys Association members commissioned the remodeled school field and track, a project by set of 1976/1981.
