He won sport betting and he made sujud shukr!
No amount of that can exonerate you from sins of betting that Allah (SWT) prohibited. We shall give account to Allah (SWT) one day.

It is not enough to say 'Allah help me',do you also offer help unto others? Allah is indebted to those who help others.

May we not be tested by Allah. Nobody passes Allah's test except by His Mercy. Adam (AS) is an example.

THE OPPRESSED DO NOT FORGET!

When Al-Ma'mun bin Harun Al-Rashid was a boy, his teacher hit him with a stick for no reason, so Al-Ma'mun asked him: "Why did you hit me?" The teacher said: "Be quiet!" Whenever Al-Ma'mun asked him about it, the teacher told him: "Be quiet!" Twenty years later, when Al-Ma'mun assumed the position of Caliph, the first thing he did was summon his teacher. He said to him: "Why did you hit me when I was a boy?" The teacher smiled and said: "Haven't you forgotten that incident yet?" Al-Mamoun said: "By Allah, I have not forgotten!" The teacher said to him: "I hit you so that you know that the oppressed do not forget, so do not oppress anyone, for injustice is a fire that will not be extinguished in the heart of the oppressed, even if the years get passed."

HOW STRONG IS YOUR FAITH IN ALLAH?

Once upon a time in Mecca, there was a man,Salim, who was a thrift collector. He used to collect thrift in the cities around Mecca.
One day,he was going to a city near Mecca on his horse, far away in the desert when he met a man. The strange man said he was going the city Salim was going. He begged to be lifted on his horse because he was tired. Salim agreed.
On the way,the stranger told Salim to follow a route and that it was shorter. Salim first disagreed, but the stranger convinced him. It was a bush path.
Not too long on the bush path, they were crossed by bandits. The stranger quickly jumped down and joined the bandits. He lured Salim on to the path. They collected all money on him. They also wanted to kill him.
"Even if you're going to kill me,please allow me offer two rakats of prayer." Salim begged.
The bandits laughed.
"See heaps of bones on your right. Those were people we killed. They also offered two rakats. You can do whatever, but we will surely kill you" The bandits said.
Salim did ablution. He didn't panicked. He offered two rakats. At the last sujud he supplicated:
"Ya asra'un makran,Ya khairul maakireen agithinee"
(Meaning: O Ye who is swift in scheming,O Ye the Best Schemer deliver me)
He repeated it eleven times.
By the time he lifted his head up,he saw them in the pools of their blood, dead.
Lesson: Those they killed also prayed but they didn't have faith in Allah. Having deep faith in Allah is the greatest base for your prayers' swift acceptance.

Salam alaykum. I am Zeenah from Montreal,Canada. I am married with two kids.
My husband is an example of an ideal husband, pious, caring, responsible and forgiving.
Before I proceed, let me tell you briefly about my husband. He is a pious Muslim. I married him a virgin while I have had little fling before I married him, although I repented and true to my repentance. I told him about my deviations,he forgave me and promised to stand by me by Allah's permission. Since the day our marriage was consummated,he remains true with his promise.
Shortly after I gave birth to my second child,I fell sick. It was terrible. I thought it was my time to meet Allah. My husband fought for me with all he had. He went bankrupt. Sometimes I would cry but he would smile and say 'by Allah,Zeenah,I won't ever leave your side a second',he took care of me,our home and children. Alhamdulillah,Allah healed me.
I was healed, but my husband was in deep debt. He owed almost all the worlds. Because of me,he lost his job. Even I was healed and discharged,he borrowed more to take care of me.
One night I woke up in the middle of the night and found he was not by my side, and it was not yet his time for tahajudd. I went everywhere to look for him until I found him leaning on a wall in our visitor's room. I was shocked and sad. My dear Khamil was sobbing like kids. He was so down emotionally that he couldn't hear my worried footsteps.
I held him,we sobbed together, then I lost the strength of my legs that were shaking because of his grief. I was sobbing more. I was his grief. 'Khamil,I caused this...I ruined everything',I muttered, tears cascaded down like a flood.
'Honey,it isn't you. It is me. It is Allah. Astagfirullah,my sins,It may be them,it can't ever be you,Zeenah'.
He managed to take broken me inside, cuddled me while I was still sobbing. I slept off at the warm of his tortured body. He didn't pray tahajud that night, not that he slept off,but because he wouldn't want me to cry, again.
Then I had a dream. I was shown his inner bodies. I saw everything burnt and torn. I was shown where he treaded to give me comfort when I was sick,I saw thorns, cliffs, stormy oceans and battles. I broke into tears. I saw him doing something like waving bye to me. Then I woke up.
I knew I have to do more prayers.
Khamil had a righteous Sheikh who sometimes guide us. I sought Khamil's permission to see him. After much persuasion,he obliged.
' Alhamdullilah for everything. Allah is indeed kind to His slaves. When He loves a slave,He shows him what he's up to and ready to help him if he offers prayers. Surely, brother Khamil has reached the dead end,but Allah brings help from anywhere. Alhamdilillah, you're an ideal Muslimah. Don't fear,Allah hates to see a pious woman cry for a need. He would answer you.' The Sheikh gave me strength.
The Sheikh asked me to recite Attahiyat Lillah, one hundred times and Suratul Ikhlas thirty three times for seven days before I sleep.
I did it. Ma Shaa Allah. I am happy,my Khamil paid all the debts and got a better job.
I shared this story to tell any pious grieving Muslim that Allah is ever ready to cure any grief.
Alhamdulillah Robbil 'Aalameen!

You can't be smarter than your creator, accept His judgement. And if it isn't pleasing to you, appeal to him silently with total submission to Him.
