THE POLYTECHNIC, IBADAN ANNOUNCES APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Polytechnic, Ibadan has invited interested and qualified candidates for admission into National Diploma for Full Time, Daily Part-Time and Continuing Education Part-Time Programmes in the institution.

In a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale and made available for newsmen by the Institution’s Director of Public Communications, Alh. Soladoye Adewole disclosed the criteria and requirements for admission.

“For the Full Time, interested candidates must have made the institution either First Choice in the 2022/2023 UTME or Opened to a Change of Institution to The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

“Candidates for both Full Time and Daily Part-Time Programmes must have obtained a UTME Score of 150 and above. In addition, the DPP Candidates must obtain a Part-Time Application Form from The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

“Candidates for the National Diploma Programmes are also expected to obtain a Part-Time Application Form from JAMB.

“For all The Programmes, Candidates must also possess five (5) relevant O’Level Credits in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings.

“Detailed information about available courses and requirements can be accessed on the institution’s admission portal at (http://tpiportal.polyibadan.edu.ng/admissions).

The institution further stressed that the deadline for the sale of the application form is Friday, 16th September 2022.

Hnd first batch admission list for 2021/2022 academic session is out online. Proceed on your acceptance fee payment and clearance registration. Goodluck to the admitted ones

So I believe there shouldn't be problem for those that are yet to get their Results, just make sure you're done with clearance

REQUIREMENTS FOR HND INTERVIEW

Please be informed that interview has been scheduled for Tuesday 5-Wednesday 6 July, 2022 It is mandatory that students come along with the following:

(I) Original and photocopies of results
(II) Letters of attestation with letter head paper duly stumped from:

(a) A clergy man
(b) A civil servant of level 14 and above duly signed and stamped with their functional phone numbers clearly stated.
(c) Affix a recent passport photograph to each letter.

The approved results of the students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan should be available in your department
A photocopy of this result should accompany your recommendation to the admission officer after the interview.
Letter from staff of The Polytechnic, Ibadan will not be accepted.

The following are few things I need the remind you

_*Remember your examination is 25 questions and each question carries 4marks i.e you have to take all questions so important*_

_Make sure your body is well covered for the ladies and avoid wearing crazy jean and armless clothes pls_

_Dress like a responsible person, Just put on decent dress to avoid embarrassment_

_Go with 2 copies of your acknowledgement form with pencils and a clean sheet of paper for those doing calculation_

_If you see the system you're about to use is having some issues... Just raise up your hand ✋ until you get noticed_

*_On a final note, keep your properties safe, most especially your phones, I can keep for anyone that bring it to me_*

1. 2 copies of HND exam slip( acknowledgement card)

2. Pen/pencil
