: Working Visitation of the Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN) to the Joint Institutions of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Ibadan; The Federal College of Agriculture (FCA), Ibadan and The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Ibadan, which held at the Prof. E. A. Adebowale Training Hall, Moor Plantation, Ibadan on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

The Executive Secretary, ARCN, Dr. Abubakar Adamu Dabban led the 6-man delegation of the Council to the Director's Office, where they were warmly received by the CEOs of the respective Institutions and had a brief interaction, before proceeding to the venue of the event.

In attendance were, the E.S., ARCN, Dr. Abubakar Dabban; The CEOs of the three Institutions, including Executive Director, IAR&T, Prof. Gabriel Oluwatosin; The Provost, FCA, Ibadan, Prof. Jeremiah Jonathan Atungwu and The Ag. Provost, FCAH&PT, Ibadan, Dr. Chidi Okpeze. Other members of the Delegation include, The Director, Planning, Research & Statistics, ARCN, Dr. Oluwafemi Salako; The Director, Plant Resources Department, ARCN, Dr. Aliyu Madugu; The Asst. Director, Admin, ARCN, Mr. Kayode Aiyedogbon; The S.A. to the E.S., Engr. Gabi Muhammad and The Public Relations Officer, ARCN, Mrs. Khadijat Ameen.

In addition, other Principal Officers, IAR&T Professors, Deans and Heads of Departments/Programmes/Units/Centres of the three Institutions were also in attendance. Other important Guests were, the Provost, Federal Cooperative College, Dr. Abdulganeey Ibrahim; The Immediate Past Executive Director, IAR&T, Prof. Veronica Obatolu and The Immediate Past Provost, FCAH&PT, Ibadan, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo.

The visitation, which was the maiden visit of the newly appointed E.S., ARCN, was hinged on further deepening the existing working relationship and collaboration between the Council and the Agricultural Institutions, with a view to highlighting areas of needs and support required from the Council. The CEOs, in their remarks, welcomed the E.S. and assured him of their continued positive and harmonious cooperation. In turn, The E.S. appreciated all the institu

: The IAR&T REFILS Team received an *Award of Exemplary Service* on behalf of the Executive Director, IAR&T, Prof. Gabriel Oluwatosin from the Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LASADA), recognizing the Director's positive impact, tireless contribution and achievement in promoting Agriculture in Lagos State.

The Award was presented by the REFILS Team to the Director in his office on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025.

The team was led by Dr. Olanipekun (MIP), accompanied by other members, including Dr. Aluko (MIP), Dr. Kamiyo (GLIP), Dr. Popoola (SWFSR&EP), Dr. Ajijola (K&JIP) and Dr. Omotosho (SWFSR&EP).

Congratulations to the Director, and by extension the entire Management and Staff members of the Institute on this well-deserved recognition.

: Final Day: A 3-Day Training on Homestead Farming, Computer Awareness and Food Processing for Students & Youths on Holiday, organized by the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Ibadan at the AVAEC Building of the Institute from Tues., August 26 to Thurs, August 28, 2025.

Certificate of Participation was issued to all participants upon completion of the training.
