13-year-old Taha is delighted about being able to study again.

He was forced to leave school since war broke out nearly two years ago in Sudan.

Recently, however, he resumed classes at a UNICEF temporary learning space in an internally displaced camp in Kassala.

“I really like studying. I even read and study on my days off,” he says. Arabic is his favourite subject.

A ceasefire in Sudan is vital so children like him can work on their dreams and futures uninterrupted by violence.
