I was trying to describe something huge to my pupils, i used the word "COLOSSAL" and everyone kept quiet like it time for repentance🤣🤣 I was amazed and noticed their facial expressions (we are lost)😎.I asked any question? Please raise your hand if you do.
Pupil: ma'am please what is colossal and why did you say raise your hand and not raise up your hand?.
I smiled and said when you raise your hands it is up already so!!! you don't need to include "UP" anymore. Hmmmmm for colossal there is nothing serious about it, it just another way of saying huge,you can also use ELEPHANTINE , MAMMOTH and GIGANTIC to describe something huge are we clear?
