REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this scholarship, students must meet the following:

• Be an international student with a valid study permit and enrolled in a program full-time

• Have citizenship from an African country

• Be newly admitted to one of the available undergraduate programs offered in English or with French Immersion option (Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sociology, Anthropology, International Development and Globalization, Conflict Studies, Public Administration, Science excluding Biochemistry, Physics in Electrical Engineering, and Ophthalmic Medical Technology)

• For the Entrance scholarship: have an admission average of
89.99% or lower, once converted in the university’s grading scale

• For the Excellence scholarship: have an admission average of a minimum of 90% once converted in the university’s grading scale.

RENEWAL CRITERIA
This scholarship can be renewed each subsequent study year, for the same amount offered at the time of admission, provided that the recipient maintains have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 5.0 or higher at the end of each academic year.
