Professional Certificate Course in Public Health Logistics & Supply Chain Management

This is the ninth batch since inception in 2018 and first batch of this course for the year 2021.

The course was originally held offline and it has been held at both Northern and Southern parts of Nigeria since commencement in April 2018. The course has also been done as organisational and facility based workshops.

This course explores the basics and fundamental of Public Health Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Logistics Management Information Systems, Warehousing, Storage and Distribution, Basic forecasting, and quantification as well as monitoring and evaluation of Supply Chain Management systems.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to manage commodities supply chain, improve
storage and warehousing conditions, and serve as advocates for good commodity logistics
systems and implement change in their supply chain systems with appropriate monitoring and evaluation processes.

Facilitators with excellent understanding, experience and expertise in Public Health Supply Chain Management will deliver the course.
These facilitators not only have considerable knowledge of Public Health logistics theory, but also have first hand experience and expertise assessing, designing and managing country-specific logistics systems at their various level of operations.
