WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY 2022: Celebrating educators

This year marks the 28th anniversary of World Teachers’ Day, with celebrations taking place across the globe.

In 2022, the theme is: “Teachers at the heart of education recovery”.

Teachers work hard to inspire, guide, educate and mentor us every day. Within the world of languages, they help us navigate tricky grammar points, perfect our pronunciation, and stay motivated. They’re the coaches that spur us on and keep us on track.

What is World Teachers’ Day?
As its name suggests, World Teachers’ Day is an international celebration of teachers. It takes place on 5th October every year.

The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) established the celebration in 1994.

They chose 5th October as it marks the anniversary of the signing of important guidance and criteria covering teachers’ rights, conditions and more, back in 1966.

NIGERIA UNION OF TEACHERS:
BURDENSOME TEACHERS' UNION THEY CALL NUT!

If the founders of NUT have opportunity to come back to life, there is seventy percent probability that, they will work towards abolishment of NUT, or overhauling of her operation. NUT is becoming too burdensome to teachers, against preliminary objective set for teachers' welfarism.

Below are some of the areas NUT is becoming unbearable burden to Nigeria teachers:

DISOBEDIENCE TO COURT ORDER.
Some Nigeria teachers who are no longer satisfied with NUT has won in court. NUT has been disobeying court orders that recognized alternative unions for teachers. Is NUT not becoming burdensome to teachers for forcefully lording herself as sole teachers union in Nigeria when the constitution/court has assented to alternative unions for teachers?

BETRAYAL OF TRUST.
Some NUT executives in certain state, were convicted of conniving with an arm of government against the state government to inflate teachers data. The so called NUT executives descended so low to the extent of getting returns from the arm of government. How do you expect NUT in such state, to defend the interest of teachers? Isn't NUT becoming burdensome, troubleshooting to teachers in Nigeria?

CORRUPT PRACTICES!
Someone like I can only belief NUT is corrupt free, if NUT in any state can boldly invite ICPC or EFCC for investigation of her finances. If truly there is 70% of corruption report from education sector, NUT should be prime suspect.

UNYIELDING TO CORRECTION!
Only God knows number of lives, number of heads (dead or alive), crying day and night unto God for vengeance against NUT. Many teachers have been unnecessarily "affected" across the country for telling NUT "Hard truth." If NUT finds it difficult to heed correction, why has NUT not changed the name and go into total extinction? If truly teachers are nation builder, image makers, then, NUT should not parade herself as union to people hold in high esteem.

END-WELL SCHEME.
NUT (Oyo state wing) has made her END-WELL SCHEME more burdensome to subscribers than proposed ending well. A good example is recently reviewed bye-law in favour of the scheme against subscribers.
I am still making consultations to corroborate established financial Act, or law, or regulation with any financial institution, micro-finance bank, commercial banks and the likes, to give customers/subscribers who has signified interest for closure of transaction one year waiting period, before savings is paid unto them. Even, if there is any, NUT (Oyo state wing) has made the scheme burdensome to teachers.

NUT BURDENSOME ADVOCACY FOR TRCN!
It is so surprising that NUT has become microphone/megaphone/publicity Secretary/Marketer for TRCN. Comparing teachers in Nigeria with other professional bodies by NUT to justify annual deduction for TRCN is quite worrisome and barbaric.

In a release by NUT (Oyo state wing), where teachers are compared with medical practitioners as professional body, the renewal for nurses and the likes is not annually, it used to be every three years. They don't just give them automatic renewal, they must undergo a training/course. Why is TRCN is done annually? Most times, nurses get better salary for their renewal, is the same thing applicable in education sector? Besides, I.D card of medical practitioner is acceptable by some institution outside Nigeria. Does NUT I.D card carry same weight? Why can't NUT allow TRCN organize conference for teachers instead of becoming needless solicitor for her?

Legal practitioners as a professional body starts by "call to the bar" after successful completion of related course. Can we compare TRCN diet/examination with that of lawyers? All registered legal practitioners have right to open a chamber, is TRCN certificate a criteria for establishment of private schools in Nigeria?
I feel ashamed for shameless NUT for advocating for TRCN among teachers, when necessary things have not been attended unto.

May God spare our lives beyond next year, NUT will have to justify deduction of TRCN from our salary annually.

Today, we shall be rounding off this series and our focus will be on marriage. There is no special guideline to making marriage work that we have never heard before. There is no man or woman who doesn't want a happy home, the problem is that, majority finds it too difficult to pay the price.

Stormy marriage has wrecked havock, inflict sicknesses, health challenges on several human being. Many have gone to early grave because of marriage. Sir/ma, is your marriage a source of challenge to your health? If yes, how long will you continue to inflict injury on yourself? I advice you read and ponder on below tips.

▶️ Stop deceiving yourself with religion/spirituality. Marriage is 70% carnality and 30% spirituality. Adopt round table settlement than praying and fasting.

▶️ What is your ideology OR what do you understand by "My husband/my wife"? Your ideology determines your behavior to your spouse.

▶️ If truly you have right ideology "My wife/my husband," then, why is it difficult to shift ground for peace to reign?

▶️ Marriage is a daily developmental project, invest in it everyday.

▶️ These are four common enemies in all marriages: money, mouth, third party, and marital challenges. Be master over all.

▶️ The only marriage that can never enjoy peace, is the one where both spouses are allergic to corrections and changes.

▶️ Never give up OR never accept bad fate in your marriage.

▶️ Whatever you want your spouse to do for you, start doing it.

▶️ Be careful, never to allow your spouse to make you a candidate of hell. Two wrongs never make a right.

▶️ Can your conscience bear you witness that truly, you are honest to your spouse on every matter you made him/her believe?

▶️ It is advisable you choose sound health above "what will people say?"

Summarily, if you can not handle your marriage, then, you ought not be trusted with any position anywhere. If you find it easy to hate your own peace of mind, then, you can meant well for any other person. Determine to live above sorrow, bitterness and deteriorating health by giving yourself right sense and new orientation. Please, bear in mind that, the best message you can easily obey is the hard truth you tell yourself. Therefore, be sincere with yourself. Tell yourself the hardest truth and be honest with yourself to do the needful.

Finally, if your marriage is one of the happy homes, you are richer than the richest, guide it jealously. If your home is battered, try to do what will give you rest of mind in consonant with your tenets of faith.

HOW WELL IS YOUR HEALTH? (PART THREE).

There is a vexation or anguish of soul unto many people, they walk all round, at the expense of their health, after all, most of them depreciate in health till they sick spend all they have laboured for on their health. The wise one takes care of their health, simultaneously with their daily works.

Teaching job required effectiveness in all parts/organs of the body. We stand on our legs for long all while teaching. We use our eyes to monitor our learners. We use our hands to write on the board. We use our brain to think and impart our learners. All organs in our body requires medical attention.

Today, we shall focus on cares of our eyes as teachers. Why is it that most teachers make use of eyeglasses to see things clearer? Why is it that seven of every ten most senior teachers use eyeglasses? The answer is simple, we stress our eyes beyond measure.

For those who are fond of writing lesson note/lesson plan at night, with use of rechargeable lamp, phone searchlight or Torchlight, the damages those sources of light do to our eyes is great. Out piece of advice is that: we should all endeavour to do the needful/write the note in the day time.

Another way through which we cause damages to our eyes is usage of android phone at night where there is no other source of light. We all need to reduce our night browsing as well as using lengthy time on Android phones. It is equally advisable we use fashion glasses to protect our eyes whenever we want to use our laptops or android phones.

The commonest source of transportation among teachers is motorcycle. Each time we ride on bike and fluid is forced out of our eyes, the strength in the eyes is depreciating gradually. Both male and female teachers do have the experience.

In order to protect our eyes whenever we are on bike, it is advisable we make use of safety helmet or we make use of eyeglasses.

Whatever damage done against our eyes will reflect in the old age. Oyo state BESAN is pleading to everyone to adopt "Prevention is better than cure" about our health.

CODED REALITY DREAM FROM HIGHER REALM!

This particular topic will be released occasionally, not in sequential order. By the time the twenty-first edition is released, public school teachers in Nigeria would have experienced total overhauling for repositioning, transformation from on high to the lower world with lots of infallible evidences.

Oyo state BESAN is a dream coming from a higher spiritual realm. It is a symbol of new dream for good and sweet dreamers among all. Everyone dreams, but, not everyone's dream is remembered, let alone, telling/sharing the dreams. Many have dreamt quite a long time ago, and had forgotten about the dream that were given to those of old. Many old dreams from higher realm is halfway fulfilled or aborted in due season. Many new good dreams from higher realm had no root in the upper world, where necessity is laid on all dreams that must come to reality to occupy space. No new dream can occupy space over there until old is exchanged for new dream. Only coded dream at the higher realm can gain acceptability in this lower world. What a mysterious bargain!

There is only one spiritual realm from which all things consist. We all operate in the spirit world alike. As it is done in this lower realm, so it is done in higher realm. As we have wicked on this surface, so it is over there. As traditional worshippers exhibit on this side of divide, so it is on the other side of divide. Muslim Ummah, Christian Brethren, Atheists, traditional worshippers and all creatures have a resemblance over there. From same higher realm, the lot of all professions is determined. There is a space for teaching up there, likewise for politicians, for sportsman, for rich and poor. Everything in this lower realm emanates from the higher realm.

What makes a mad man or what makes a sane man is the order from higher spiritual realm. What makes a trade effective, productive, successful or otherwise emanates from same higher spiritual realm. Good-luck or ill-luck, success or failure proceeds from higher spiritual realm. Good fortune or otherwise proceeds from on high.

As we have laws in this lower realm, there are laws over there too. Likewise spiritual covenants holding forth for every individual, group of people, a trade union, a business, a marriage, and everything that has name. Trees, animals, birds, living and nonliving creatures have order of operations from the higher realm.

There is need for "Spiritually Learned teachers," who understand the interpretation of "coded spiritual vocabularies", to check spiritual dictionaries for data collation, adequate analysis, for good bargain in favour of present and future generations in this noble call.

If previous agitations in this lower realm availed nothing, if all previous "backs and fronts" ended in futility, we need not to make further attempt on this lower realm, if truly we have gotten a reality dream from higher realm. The best and utmost thing is to operate from on high for a healthy atmospheric condition for all.

Today, being the fourteenth day in the month of August, year two thousand and twenty-two, we speak to heavens over us, our noble course, our area of specialisation, new good dreams from on high will take over from archaic dreams of stagnation or retrogression. Our noble star among all stars in Nigeria shall be revisited by the power of Most High God. All malefactors, who are presently appearing in the dream life of our logo in higher realm will be dethroned for a brand new benefactors. We decreed "Spiritual emergency" upon our Dreamland for better reformation and restructuring.

In that our coded dream from higher realm, anything that represents stigma, corruption, imprisonment, unholy renewable and fixed covenants, combined burdens and yokes, symbols and identities of "literate slaves" we hit you with spiritual sledge hammer, and we decreed that they break into pieces, starting from now and henceforth, by the Mighty Hand of God Who owns the universe *(AMEN).*

We decreed and declared outright change of status from "Endurance" to "Enjoyment" upon this noble course. We speak to heavens over this noble work to reject all workers of adversity thereof. We exchange the assigned angel to our portion in higher realm to a favourable one *(AMEN).*

In that coded reality dream from higher, there is a brand new version, new chapter opened "unto author of knowledge" in this part of the lower world. In our lifetime, this dream begins to come to manifestations. On behalf of Oyo state BESAN, I want to say: CONGRATULATIONS IN ADVANCE!

Whenever there is deception, either of the two camps will know. The camp deceiving the other one will convincingly know, but, the camp been deceived might not realize on time. Cowardice sets in, when someone knows he is been cheated but pretend to act as if he does not know.

Oyo state BESAN knows that her kinsmen are passing through hell on the other end, but, the chain of fear, let hell loose on them the more. They knew, but pretend as if everything is normal. The truth is that, fear itself is fearful, it takes confrontation to overcome fear and put fear under subjection.

To set the record right, Oyo state BESAN is not launching attack against any personality, rather, Oyo state BESAN is resisting any force that may want to obstruct her triumphant movement.

Today, we shall consider another reason why effective persuasion from any end to Oyo state BESAN may hit the rock. All public primary schools in Nigeria operates under board with her headquarters at FCT, Abuja. Unlike government unity schools which is directly under the board at Abuja, public primary schools seems to stand on tripods. Going by same edicts that is binding on all unity schools in Nigeria and all public primary schools in Nigeria, one would have expected public primary school teachers to feel similitude of what is obtainable in unity schools, public primary schools operate under a national policy as directed from the FCT, Abuja, coupled with each state policy for public primary schools, in addition to local terrain to which each public primary school belongs.

Public secondary schools is directly under the state commission, and they operates directly with state regulations. Academic staffs in public Polytechnic schools, owned by state government, operates directly with their respective state government. Academic staffs in public Polytechnic owned by federal government operates directly with the federal government. Likewise in the colleges of education and universities. _Only public primary schools operate under a national policy as directed from the FCT, Abuja, coupled with each state policy for public primary schools, in addition to local terrain to which each public primary school belongs._

Oyo state BESAN believes that public primary school in Nigeria need a union of her own to navigate among the trios. The edicts that established UBEC is credible and wonderful to all beneficiaries put under her. This edicts covers federal unity schools as well as all public primary schools in Nigeria. Can anyone compare the welfare of teachers in unity schools in Nigeria with that of public primary school teachers operating under same edicts?

It is not in the power of Oyo state BESAN to singlehandedly contradict national body of BESAN to broker peace with youthful individual or well stricken in age group of people who never see the need to press home more goodies in the edicts for public primary school teachers in Nigeria. All what Oyo state BESAN will require from such fellow or institution is approval from national body of BESAN, to be loyal to such. It is never in the capacity of Oyo state BESAN to say, "Yes, I do," to anyone contrary to the national BESAN that hold us in high esteem here. Any institution that has national body knows that, state must secure approval from national body before acting against laid down engagements.

Oyo state BESAN has engaged with national body of BESAN because we see hope, brighter future for her members. However, Oyo state BESAN will never mind calling it quit, if anyone or group of people has convincing proof or laudable efforts that supercedes that of national BESAN for public primary school teachers in Oyo state.

Distinguished fellow reader, before you join them to call Oyo state BESAN names like; "adamant, unforgiven, unyielding and names of such," please, know our stand and what will necessitate our acting otherwise. In all sincerity of heart and honesty, be our judge for our actions or inactions.
