HELP FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC; TO LOCATE AND PLEAD WITH BOBADE, GBENGA TIMOTHY.
We, the New Managers of Eni Hostel, situated at 33 Fresh Anointing Street, Orogun, Ibadan. Wish to use this medium to plead to the Public and Bobade Gbenga after several attempts to make him show up and move his belongings from our facility.
He (Bobade, Gbenga Timothy popularly called "GENERAL") rented this apartment in 2016 from an agent "Wisdom Base" but skillfully or deceitfully filled the form above.
From the hand-over note given to us by Wisdom Base, we made attempts to reach him from April to Dec2019, but to no avail, until one night Dec 21, 2019, when a woman (whose pix is attached) with 2kids showed up claiming to be his wife.
After so much begging, she was allowed into the apartment. We were able to get only his alternative phone number.
After so much pressure from calls, some Payments for the outstanding rent and Utility bills were paid.
Bobade eventually showed in Feb 2020 and was asked to update his records for us to know what he does for a living etc, since our findings from co-occupants and formal agents showed that;
1. He takes off for months without anybody knowing his whereabout or what he does for a leaving.
2. His 20nos co-occupants only know his name as "General" and nothing more. Some female occupants were even so scared to talk or say anything about. some eventually left the hostel out of fear.
3. He hardly pick calls nor respond to sms sent to him nor pays his rent/utilities on time. His rent /utility for 2019/2020 is still outstanding till date.
On this note, we asked him to pay up what is accumulated In terms of rent/utilities but rather been honourable, he decided to take on one of our staff with treats etc, that he is this or that. His wife in one of this heated conversation claims to work with the Nigeria Police Force.
We did take a step further to report this case at Ojoo/Orogun Police Station in 2020, just before the covid lockdown. but this didn't solve or help, but the police compounded the matter as the courts were not in operation, his details/undertaking was collected by one S/O Yakubu.
Bobade Gbenga, is yet to been seen or heard of since Nov 2020 till date.
