HAPPY EID-EL-KABIR/SALLAH CELEBRATION

'Sallah' a celebration popularly known in Yoruba as _"ileya celebration"_ notably signifies an everlasting memory, of a life of obedience, sacrifice and faithfulness unto Allah, displayed by Prophet Ibrahim (SWT) peace be unto his soul; for his readiness to sacrifice his son at Allah's order.
This celebration also signifies the beginning of a new Islamic season after Dhul-Hijja the 12th month of the Muslim calendar that characterised the hajj (Holy Pilgrimage) and the festival of sacrifice.

We understand the importance of Muslims in our society and the need for Muslims to pray fervently for peaceful co-existence, progress and productivity of our nation, we equally charge Muslim faith to reflect on the significance of this season, by improving more in love, prayers, giving and obedience unto Allah's instructions as premised in the Quoran and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (SWT)

We pray May Allah accept all special two-rakat prayers offered at the Eid ground and equally accept all sacrifices made this season.

We also pray that may the peace of God be with all Muslims and the entire Citizens of Nigerian. (AMIN)
