Quality and excellence - two of my favorite watchwords in life. I recall some years back, when going through my youth service (a one-year mandatory country service for Nigerian graduates), I heard someone define excellence as paying attention to details. That definition stayed with me right from that time. I’ve also done my best to teach my students this definition of excellence: attention to detail. I want my students to exhibit excellence in all spheres of life, not just academics.
