Today, digital literacy is becoming as important for teachers as subject knowledge.

There are essential digital tools every teacher should know.

Some of the digital tools are grouped by purpose below 👇

1. Presentation Tools : For creating engaging lessons. E.g, Microsoft PowerPoint,Google Slides, Canva.

2. Word Processing: For lesson notes, tests, reports, and handouts.. e.g Microsoft Word and Google Docs

3. Spreadsheet Tools: For recording scores, analyzing results, and keeping records. Example includes, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

4. Online Classroom Platforms: For teaching and managing students online. Such as, Google Classroom,Microsoft Teams,Moodle.

5. Video Conferencing Tools: For live virtual classes and meetings. Examples are Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams.
