IT’S FINALLY HERE!

My debut poetry anthology, “Beyond the Illusion”, has found its wings - and I can hardly put into words what this moment means.

Poetry has always whispered to me in quiet moments - in the hum of everyday life, in the pauses between hope and heartbreak, in the laughter that insists on blooming even when the sky is grey. What started as scattered thoughts became verses… and now, a full body of work that carries my heart on every page.

I remember the days we used to share our poems here on Facebook. Good old days! We pushed ourselves, we challenged ourselves. We became better.

“Beyond the Illusion” is more than a collection of poems - it’s a journey through self, faith, love, grief, awakening, and the constant dance between what we see and what truly is. It’s for dreamers, believers, wanderers, reformers, revolutionaries and anyone who’s ever searched for meaning beyond the noise.

You’ll find poems that question, soothe, provoke, and heal; lines born from quiet mornings, long nights, and every in-between where life demanded honesty. It is both a mirror and a window - reflecting my world and opening yours.

To everyone who’s walked this road with me - your encouragement, your patience, your listening ears - thank you.

You helped me bring this dream from scribbles and solitude into something tangible.

These days, you hear many teachers say, “There’s nothing in this sector”—but is that really true?

At the Teach and Grow Rich Conference on Saturday, organized by , one of the key discussions was on teachers diversifying and exploring new opportunities beyond the traditional teaching setting.

There’s more for teachers beyond the traditional classroom. We need to understand this very well. You don't necessarily have to be a generalist teacher like every other person. You can be a specialist and earn more.

The problem here is that a lot of teachers are only familiar with conventional classroom teaching, yet there are emerging trends and lucrative opportunities within the education space, including:

✅ Artificial Intelligence

I can go on and on. The fact is - as a teacher, you must think right, position right and take the right actions.

Each of these areas has sub-niches that teachers can tap into, providing not just financial growth, but also career fulfillment.

As an Edu-Recruiter, I see many teachers struggling, not because there are no opportunities, but because they haven’t positioned themselves for the right ones.

Teaching is evolving, and so should teachers! You don't want to get left behind.

Make room for numbers in your CV. Create that room for it.

If you want to get more interview invites, make sure you use numbers on your CV. It pays when you quantify your achievements.

Numbers will highlight the impact you have been able to make in your career. It proves your value to us when we read through your CV.

Numbers here is talking about metrics - in time, percentages, amounts, scale and scope. Not just any number.

Let me give you an example -

EXPERIENCE

Lead Teacher, ABC Kiddies School
August 2020 - Present

°Taught 150 students across grades 3 - 5, with an average class size of 25 students
°Improved student performance by 25% in standardized tests over two academic sessions.

Volunteer Teacher, ACEDEN Community School
June 2017 - August 2020

°Provided free tutoring to 50 underprivileged students, helping them improve their grades by an average of 30%.
°Collaborated with a team of 5 volunteers to organize literary competitions, engaging over 150 students and promoting a love for reading and writing among Junior school students.

Yes, as a country, we are currently battling with unemployment. But beyond this, I have come to realize that we are also battling with employable job seekers.

From the application stage to the interview stage, you see why a lot of our young graduates are unemployable. And this has contributed to the unemployment issue in our country.
