Behind this radiant achievement stands a father whose feet have long endured the dust of sacrifice, and a mother whose quiet patience watered the home with peace. From such roots, a noble branch has now stretched towards the light.

The son of Ustadz Abdulwasi'i Mashood, Ismail Olakunle Mas'ud carries not only a certificate, but the fragrance of discipline, prayer, and righteous upbringing. Ismail Mas'ud emerges today not merely as a young reciter, but as the living fruit of a home nurtured upon faith, sacrifice, and sound tarbiyyah.

His father toiled like a farmer who trusts the unseen seasons, planting knowledge with sincerity and labouring without weariness. His mother built the home with obedience, gentleness, and honour, becoming the calm soil in which faith could grow unhindered. And now, through Ismail Mas'ud, the harvest speaks with clarity.

This young bearer of Ijāzah is the ink of his father’s striving and the reflection of his mother’s devotion. Ismail Mas'ud stands as a reminder that children are often the living echoes of what parents whisper into their homes through character, sacrifice, and fear of Allah.

A careless home may raise noise,
but a righteous home raises legacy.

Parents who chase only worldly comfort may leave behind wealth that fades, yet parents who plant the Qur’an into the hearts of their children leave behind lanterns that continue to shine long after they are gone. Every gentle correction, every lawful earning, every night of prayer, every act of patience before one’s spouse — all return one day as fruit upon the branches of one’s children.

May Allah increase Ismail Mas'ud in beneficial knowledge, preserve him upon sincerity and humility, place immense barakah in his parents and teachers, and make him among those who teach the Qur’an correctly to generations yet unborn.
