For us for Rural Education and Empowerment , the past one week have all been about celebrating young children and expanding access to a more innovation learning experience for the most priceless commodity of any society.
In the spirit of the Children’s Day celebration, our team of volunteers, led by Oguntoye, have constantly championed the digital literacy drive outreach for school-aged children.
With support from Revivn, our volunteers visited young children at Kuchi-Buyi, Abuja to kick off the computer literacy drive for low-cost-schools in implementing the self-paced and need-based digital literacy outreach for children.
We trained about 30 children in Basic Christo-kids academy, a low-cost rural school in the community. Teachers from the school have been very supportive for the children’s learning.
It is always a pleasure when we take a step at a time to every child into consideration that bridges the education divide and equips them with necessary skills and knowledge for shaping their generation and ones to come.
Much grateful to , USA for this incredible support since 2021 to have provided sets of Google computers to lunch this project at this level of scale.

Below is a story of reassured confidence, through better vision. Watch these bright minds share their experience...
In many underserved communities, access to proper eye care is a luxury that remains out of reach for countless families. Limited resources and financial constraints often prevent children from receiving the vision care they desperately need. Consequently, undiagnosed and uncorrected vision problems can hinder their educational progress and hinder their overall well-being.
The 2023 Children's Day celebration was another opportunity to establish our commitment to ensuring that every child is positioned for a bright and promising future.
To mark this year's children day, we kick-started the Project in rural communities in Ondo State with 116 students and teachers from Irese community. The project is aimed at addressing the critical issue of vision impairment among school-aged children in rural communities, paving the way for a world where all children can thrive academically, pursue their dreams, and reach their full potential.
In collaboration with Eye Plus Vision Africa Initiative, we are renewing hope and vision for these young students to thrive by providing free comprehensive eye examination programs, identifying vision impairments at an early stage, ensuring timely intervention and treatment. By providing free prescription glasses tailored to each child's needs, we enable them to see the world with clarity and confidence.
Through the Project , we will also strive to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye care and advocate for practices that prioritize the vision health of underserved children.
Join us in our mission to illuminate the path to a brighter future for these incredible young minds.

Healthy vision is crucial in learning as it makes reading stress-free and comprehension easier.
Children with visual impairment find classroom learning difficult and contributes to children's poor academic performance.
In conjunction with Eye Plus Vision Africa Initiative, we are kick starting program featuring free Eye examination, provision of free eye glasses and offering referrals to rural lives in Ondo State.
