Odyssey Educational Foundation We are an independent non-profit foundation that works to promote STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering and Maths) in Africa.

Our teams are present in these schools on an agreed day and time of the week to teach them Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics subjects. The Foundation does this to reverse the trend of declining enrolments of especially the girl child and other kids in STEM programs, by engaging students in innovative learning through a variety of stimulating activities that promote interest in STEM and the pursuit of STEM careers

From classroom theory to the cockpit.

40 students of Government Secondary School, Kubwa took on real aviation roles: pilots, co-pilots, flight engineers, flight operations officers, and ground control, learning to communicate, coordinate, and earn their clearance for takeoff.

It all came together at the Grand Finale: a flight-simulation competition judged by SWE members, motivational words from SWE leadership, and a room full of students discovering that aviation and engineering careers are closer than they think.

Huge thanks to Odyssey Educational Foundation for hosting advanced pilot training, and to every Society of Women Engineers and SWE Baze University Chapter member who made this possible.
