Knowledge Commerce is the monetization of the process you use to share your knowledge. This industry has been referred to by other names, too, such as e-learning or online learning. But none of these names can quite capture the essence of this industry.

It is important to note that knowledge is not the same as information. Information can be found freely these days. However, information is valuable only when it is corroborated by real experiences. And consumers are willing to pay for such knowledge. We call such an exchange of knowledge for money Knowledge Commerce.

Conflict can be an obstacle to organizational success and personal job satisfaction. When two or more people work together, conflict is almost inevitable. Although you may not eliminate conflict entirely, you can take control of it—that is, create a positive working.

The health care system boasts of a wide range of practitioners including nurses. The nurse practitioners deal with life which is considered sacred and when lost cannot be reversed. It becomes quite clear that the nurses in the performance of their onerous responsibilities to conserve life, alleviate suffering and promote good health must possess the required basic nursing education.
Meanwhile, the knowledge of a good customer relation to gain patients confidence in visiting hospitals and clinics when they fall ill is a necessity. The focus on customer service is surely growing these days, because just being a good nurse is not good enough, the nurse also needs to provide transparency, affordability, communication and ways to make things easier for the patients. It is in line with this, that the course ā€œCustomer Relation for Nurses’’ is considered here. [www.indrap.org]

ABOUT US
The Institute at ADRAP (INDRAP) [www.indrap.org], is the learning and development arm of African Diseases Prevention and Research initiative. It aims to introduce eLearning methodologies to the study of
topical issues in the health space, especially as it relates to Africa and its health needs.
Furthermore, it is aimed at helping individuals and organizations keep abreast with and stay ahead of
current and future trends.

OUR MOTIVATION
The global workplace community is rapidly evolving, hence the introduction of modern technologies and
the need for relevant skills to ensure adaptability. The same can be said for the health sector where an
increasing skill gap is evident.
As new information, medicines, strategies and equipment become available every day, health indices in
developing countries remain poor, the rate of brain drain continues to increase and health workers are
left ill informed, overworked, poorly motivated and ill equipped.

OUR BELIEF
We believe that we can harness the power of technology through the use of smart phones and mobile
devices as the single most important driver of knowledge sharing. As free and affordable knowledge and
skill building remains the cornerstone of growth and development, INDRAPs vision is to use available and
future technology to help healthcare practitioners, individuals, organizations and communities mitigate
health challenges and stay ahead of new best practices.

OUR STRATEGY
Our strategy is based on the principle of boundaryless classrooms via the instrumentality of web 2.0.
Which supports a seamless and leisurely learning experience.
INDRAPs learning follows two basic strategies:
1) Pure online learning
2) Blended learning 80% online + 20% face to face (on demand)
Individuals can at will learn new or refresh old knowledge and skills online. These include already
developed online courses by INDRAP, or organization specific courses requested and developed for
organizations to meet its knowledge needs. The blended learning strategy is especially suited for
organizations desiring to build both staff capacity and team bonding.

OUR TEAM
Our growing team currently comprises of highly experienced healthcare providers, educators, and
information specialist spread across Abuja, Lagos and San Francisco.
We are currently seeking to welcome highly qualified and
experienced medical practitioners from within the service industry,
NGOs and academia as course instructors.

JOIN US
We invite you to join us as a course instructor delivering quality online courses to healthcare practitioners
on topical issues in the health space, especially as it relates to Africa and its health focus.

YOUR PROFILE
Are you an experienced healthcare professional with valuable knowledge on trending topics in the health
space. Or you are in academia and is interested in making your course virtually accessible to millions of
people across the globe. Or you have knowledge that’s valuable and shareable relating to topical issues in
the health space as it relates to Africa and its health focus.

WHAT YOU DO
Effective online learning depends on contents appropriately designed and facilitated by knowledgeable
educators. This is done via a variety of instructional strategies all aimed at self-directed learning.
In a bid to achieve this, we require all instructors to build courses based on a unit system, this will in turn inform the level of effort governing each course
1) 1 unit course= 15 hours
2) 2 unit course= 25 hours
3) 3 unit course= 35 hours

Your responsibilities are:
1. Building the curriculum
2. Designing instructional materials. Slides and PowerPoint
3. Making instructional videos.
4. Providing a reading list and reference materials
5. Moderating forum discussions and answering questions
6. Preparing and assessing pre and posttest.

Each section above will be delivered in a percentile manner based on the weight in units a course carries.
Our support team will be available round the clock to support you throughout the designing and
implementation phase of the course.
