Absolutely!

Every trainee represents a dream, a future professional, and a catalyst for positive change.

At IDEAS Project Nigeria, we believe that empowering trainees with practical, industry-relevant skills is one of the most impactful investments we can make. Through quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), trainees gain the confidence, hands-on experience, and expertise needed to excel in the workplace, launch successful businesses, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Our commitment goes beyond training, we are nurturing innovators, problem-solvers, entrepreneurs, and leaders who will shape the industries of tomorrow.

World Youth Skills Day 2026 was absolute electric!

Yesterday, the halls of iLearn Learning Spaces were filled with unmatched energy, creativity, and pure excitement as we celebrated "Skills for a Shared Future."

From Gwagwalada to the world, we gathered young minds to learn, connect, and co-create! Here’s a quick recap of how it went down:

- Community over Isolation: Our Executive Director, , and tech trainer Lifted Ugheoke kicked off the day reminding us that true skill development serves the community first.
- Real Creators, Real Stories: Content creators Naomi and Prosper proved that you don't need a perfect setup to start, you just need consistency and the courage to push past shyness.
- Bridging the Tech Gap: We discovered that 60% of our attendees were brand new to LinkedIn! By the end of our workshop, we did a live walkthrough to set up standard profiles to launch their digital careers.
- A Decade of Wisdom: Our Co-Founder & Head of Operations, , shared inspiring lessons on the beauty of the entrepreneurial hustle and building resilience.

🏆 THE IMPACT-A-THON CLIMAX!
We put our participants to the ultimate test. Complete strangers teamed up into 5 groups, had 30 minutes to co-create an idea, and 3 minutes to pitch it under strict funding rubrics.

One brilliant team blew the judges away with an innovative beauty product concept, scoring over 100 points to secure the grand prize! The team of 5 walked away with ₦50,000 in instant cash, shared right on stage to an electric, cheering crowd!

🙌 None of this would have been possible without our incredible partners:

Fincray: Our incredible lead sponsor who covered all event logistics and funded the prize money!

Uzo Awele Otakpor: For being a rock-solid pillar of support for this event.

All our judges, for bringing top-tier expertise to our Impact-a-thon judging panel.

We closed the day with refreshments, warm connections, and a room full of young people ready to take on the world. This is what a shared future looks like!

🎬 Building Safer, Smarter, and More Professional Creative Media Professionals!

This week at the IDEAS-TVET Creative Media Production Programme, our trainees continued their journey with three essential modules that are shaping them into industry-ready creative professionals.

🦺 Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Practices
Facilitated by Dr. (Mrs.) Abah Ezenne Margret and Mr. Ekele Timothy, trainees learned the importance of maintaining safe working environments, identifying workplace hazards, managing risks, and adopting professional health and safety practices essential for creative media production.

🤝 Communication, Customer Service & Workplace Professionalism
Led by Israel Pender, this engaging session focused on effective communication, client relationship management, teamwork, workplace ethics, and the professional behaviours that distinguish successful creative practitioners.

🎨 Introduction to Graphic Design
Facilitated by Christopher Oseni, trainees explored the fundamentals of graphic design, including design principles, visual communication, colour theory, typography, and the role of graphic design in today's digital economy.

At iLearn Learning Spaces Ltd, we believe that technical skills alone are not enough. We are committed to developing creative professionals who are technically competent, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and equipped with the professionalism required to thrive in Nigeria's growing creative economy.

Together, we are empowering the next generation of creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs through the IDEAS Project NG.
