Dear Friends and Community members,

We hope this message finds you well.

We are writing to share the news about changes our school is undergoing.

As many of you know our journey in education as school owners has been for a few years but these years we must say are incredibly rewarding, and we have been privileged to be a part of so many precious young minds and have seen them blossoming in their wonderful capacity.

It brings us great joy to announce that we have entrusted the leadership of our school and have legally transferred the ownership of Glami schools to Mrs Abosede Emmanuel-Otimayin the administrator of the school on the 6th of March,2024 as a gift with the name changed to Lead Blossom Academy.
This was commemorated on the 13th of April 2024 and the deed of gift read.

Mrs Abosede Emmanuel-Otimayin took up the responsibility of the school administrator and has shown that she's capable of keeping the vision, laid down values and culture of Glami Schools through her commitment, dedication, ability to take corrections and positive collaboration attitude with the members of staff and our noble parents.

We are confident that under the guidance of Mrs Abosede Emmanuel-Otimayin, the school will continue to flourish and uphold the standards of excellence we have always strived for. This decision brings us immense peace of mind knowing that by His grace our school is in capable, passionate and caring hands.

As a new academic session commences September 2024 (2024/2025 session), the following changes will be taking effect:

Mr Oluwayomi Olayemi and Mrs Oluwakemi H. Olayemi-Kolawole step down as the owners of Glami Schools to members of trustees

* Change of name from Glami Schools to Lead Blossom Academy on signage and learning materials

* World-class child-centred teaching and care, engaging curriculum, top-notch extracurricular activities, a high level of moral values, peaceful, welcoming and enabling learning environment shall be maintained

* The school shall retain her open communication channel between parents and the school for complaints and recommendations

* Uniform materials, styles, logos and colours shall be retained

* Payment of fees would be to Lead Blossom Academy

* Admission procedure remains the same

* All official and legal documents are fully signed

* All vendors shall be retained as long as their services are needed.

As we pray and trust God for provision and guidance to run in the due course the VISION of EDUCATIONAL CHARITY that He has given us to reach out to the less privileged children through scholarships, running of teachers training and providing mentorship and counselling for low-cost schools to ensure that children of low-cost schools in unreached places enjoy quality education .

We appreciate everyone in our
community -- precious little darlings ( our pupils), amazing parents of Glami Schools, wonderful members of staff, incredible mentors, lovely members of our families, wonderful friends and our dedicated vendors.

Thank you for your understanding and for joining us in welcoming this new chapter.

We are excited to see the continuous growth and achievements that lie ahead through God's help and your unwavering support.

STORY :

The Elephant And The String

A tourist was walking through an elephant camp when she spotted gigantic elephants nearby. Wanting to catch a glimpse of them from up close, she moved towards the elephants. As she got closer, she noticed that the only thing restraining the elephants were tiny pieces of rope tied to their legs. She was surprised by how such mammoth beings were being restrained by small pieces of rope.

Noticing a trainer nearby, she went and asked him why the elephants didn’t escape when they could easily break away from the rope. The trainer said, “When the elephants were young, they were restrained using the same rope. Since they were much smaller then, they couldn’t escape. As they grew up, they continued to believe that the rope was much stronger than them. That’s why even now they do not try to break free.”

The tourist was amazed. The elephants could break away from the rope anytime and escape. But just because they believed they couldn’t, they stayed as captives.

*Moral of the story:*

Always believe in your capabilities and be determined to fight anything life throws at you.

Sports play a crucial role in the holistic development of children and at Glami Schools, we don't want to deprive our pupils of this opportunity. It teaches them important values such as discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through sports, they also learn to push their boundaries, overcome challenges, and strive for the best.

√ Are all school bags, water bottles, lunch boxes, shoes, uniforms, etc ready for school?

√ What about your ward's holiday home fun ?

√ What about their hair, nails, etc are they in proper fettle?

√ Have you had age appropriate discussions with them about their aspirations, conduct, goals and your expectations from them this term?

√ Has your account been debited to credit your child's School's ?

√ Have you purchased snacks for resumption ?

√ Have you adjusted their screen time (TV), bed time and out of bed time ?

√ Are you committing them to God's hands?
