*BASIC FACTS ON TUBERCULOSIS (TB) INFECTION*
What you need to know
What is Tuberculosis??
Tuberculosis is an infections disease caused by a germ bacteria called MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS. It affect mostly the lungs but other organs like the Brain kidneys joints bones skin abdomen can also be affected. Tuberculosis germ is spread mainly through the air (airbine) by an infected/untreated person. Tuberculosis germs are released into the air when a person with TB of the lungs who is not on treatment or not adequately treated sneezes, Coughs, shouts, spits and songs or any other way air is expelled from an infected person. Persons who breaths in or inhales the air containing this germs may become infected. All age group are @ risk but mostly affects adult. Children who are in contact with infected adults can develop TB. People with lie immunity like , Cancers, malnutrition, Ate more likely to develop TB.
*SIGNS AMD SYMPTOMS OF TUBERCULOSIS*
1. Unexplained weight loss
2. Cough of 2 weeks or more
3. Loss of appetite
4. Night sweats
5. Tiredness
6. Difficulty in breathing
7. Coughing up of
8. Chest pain
*HOW TO PREVENT T

1. Quick check and testing taking are adviced and completing the medication completely can prevent spread from person to person.
2. Covering of mouth and nose with handkerchief when coughing or sneezing
3. Not spitting and ( ) anyhow, washing hands with soap and water.
4. Good ventilation of rooms avoid overcrowding (Environmental cleanliness)
5. In people that are HIV positive medicines to prevent TB are given free of charge
6. Children are also given called BCG to protects against severe forms of TB
7. Eating balanced diet including and and avoiding habits that are not healthy
