He is graduating with an impressive CGPA of 4.84, emerging as the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Religious Studies, and has been honored with an Award of Academic Excellence by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), GSU Chapter.

More so, he ranks as the Third Overall Best Graduating Muslim Student of Gombe State University for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Official Exam Message & Dua – From the President, ISSAN Gombe State University Chapter

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

O Allah, the Opener of hearts and the Giver of wisdom, we turn to You on behalf of all our members and fellow students. Grant us clarity of mind, strength of memory, and ease in all our examinations. Make what is difficult easy for us. Bless our efforts and crown them with success and barakah in both dunya and akhirah. Protect us from fear, forgetfulness, and failure. Ameen.

Important reminders and advice to all students:

1. Don’t sleep on your exams – start preparing early and study consistently.
2. Read seriously and sincerely – with intention, focus, and effort.
3. Pray abundantly – especially Salat al-Haja and du’a before and after revision.
4. Be at the venue at least 30 minutes before your exam starts.
5. Never go into the examination hall with your phone – it can cost you dearly.
6. Always go with your exam slip (card) – and make sure it's kept safe.
7. Double-check your timetable regularly, even hourly on exam days.
8. Stay calm, confident, and avoid any form of malpractice – success lies in honesty.
9. Eat well, rest moderately, and keep your mind clear.

May Allah make our exams a means of progress, not stress.

Today, the leadership of the Islamic Studies Students Association of Nigeria (ISSAN), Gombe State University Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Ahmad Makari, the Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja, and a highly respected scholar, mentor, and academic figure in our field.

As part of the visit, we had the distinct honor of presenting him with an Award of Appreciation on behalf of the Office of the President, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to Islamic scholarship, character building, and nationwide spiritual leadership.

It was a truly humbling and inspiring moment for us as young students and future leaders.
