The Real Probl3m With Online Teaching

One major disadvantage of online teaching is that anybody can come online and start teaching, whether the person is educated or not, qualified or not, trained or not.

Someone can simply post one or two videos, speak confidently, solve small examples, and suddenly look like an expert. The worst part is that many parents are not professionals in that subject, so they may not know the difference between a real teacher and someone who is only performing.

Yes, parents who are educated or experienced can easily spot the difference, but not every parent has that advantage, and that’s where the dang3r is.

Online teaching should not be a space where anybody just wakes up, buys data, and begins to teach children.

And sadly, while the online space is filling up, the real teachers are not even showing up online. Many trained teachers are not active, not consistent, not visible. So the space is being taken over by those who are not qualified.

And honestly, I don’t blame the non-teachers completely. Because if the real teachers refuse to use the opportunities available, others will come in and take it.

The painful truth is this: online teaching is not properly monitored. There is no standard check. No verification. No quality control. Anyone can teach, anyone can mislead, and children are the ones who suffer.
