MSSN Gombe State Branch Week Commences with Visitations to Correctional Centre and Orphanage
The MSSN Gombe State Branch Week officially commenced today with a visitation to the Correctional Centre and Daawah Orphanage, organized by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Gombe State Branch, in collaboration with IKRAM Cultural and Educational Foundation.
The first point of visitation was the Correctional Centre, where the MSSN executives had the opportunity to interact with inmates. The visit was centered on spiritual encouragement, guidance, and reminding the inmates of the importance of hope, repentance, and faith. The executives also delivered a short preaching session, offered words of encouragement, presented gifts to the inmates, and concluded the visit with prayers.
The team subsequently proceeded to Daawah Orphanage, where they spent meaningful time with the children. The visit featured several engaging activities, including fun games, a quiz session, and a career talk aimed at inspiring and educating the children about their future aspirations and possibilities.
The executives also shared gifts with the children, interacted with them, and offered prayers for their wellbeing, success, and future.
This marks the beginning of the MSSN Week activities, with more impactful and engaging programmes expected throughout the week.
