5TH SEPTEMBER, 2026
MSSN GSU PUBLIC SPEAKING & DEBATE CLUB

Day One of the MSSN GSU Public Speaking & Communication Skills Workshop got off to a great start, with practical sessions, thought-provoking conversations and activities that had participants stepping forward and putting their communication skills to practice. The sessions were facilitated by Aliyu Danladi and Sadiq Yahaya. 🎙️

A major highlight was the team entrepreneurship challenge, where participants were divided into three teams and tasked with developing a business idea to pitch to a mock investor willing to invest $10,000. Everyone had a chance to speak, pitch and defend their ideas, putting communication, teamwork and quick thinking to the test. The three teams were also rewarded with ₦30,000 for their performance. 💡

From spontaneous presentations and teamwork to insightful exchanges and networking, Day One was filled with moments that pushed participants beyond their comfort zones. The day concluded with refreshments and a positive atmosphere. We look forward to another impactful session tomorrow. 🚀
