🎓 2026 ASUU INDIGENT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME — CALL FOR APPLICATIONS! 📢

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Federal University of Kashere (F*K) Branch, invites applications from suitably qualified and genuinely indigent F*K students for the 2026 ASUU Indigent Scholarship Award, sponsored by the National Body of ASUU.

✅ ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:
• Be a registered F*K student for the current academic session
• Be genuinely indigent, with financial need being a key consideration
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from the preceding academic session

📄 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants should submit:
• Application letter (maximum 2 pages)
• Current Student Identity Card
• HOD letter confirming CGPA
• Last semester’s Course Registration Form
• Current passport photograph

⏰ DEADLINE: Wednesday, 24 September 2026 — 12:00 Noon

📌 APPLICATION METHOD:
Submit your complete application in a sealed envelope marked “ASUU INDIGENT SCHOLARSHIP 2026” to the ASUU F*K Branch Secretariat, or submit a scanned PDF electronically to the email addresses stated on the notice.

Batch 47 payments for the August upkeep are reportedly beginning to drop today, Monday, 14 September 2026. Some beneficiaries have already started receiving their credits, while others are still waiting.

📌 Please remain calm. NELFUND disbursements are processed in batches, so beneficiaries may receive their payments at different times.

If you are yet to receive yours:

✅ Keep checking your registered bank account
✅ Monitor your NELFUND dashboard
✅ Ensure your account details are correct
❌ Do not panic or pay anyone claiming they can “release” your payment

This is a positive indication that the candidate may have been recommended by the institution for admission. However, “Proposed” does not yet mean that the admission is fully finalized.

If you see this status on your JAMB CAPS:

✅ Stay calm and continue following JAMB’s instructions.
✅ If you wish to study at F*Kashere, accept the admission once the “Accept Admission” option becomes available.
✅ Continue checking your JAMB CAPS and F*Kashere admission portal regularly for further updates.
❌ Do not reject the admission if F*Kashere is your preferred institution.
