our topic for today is:
Never stop monitoring your children's progress.

One of the biggest mistakes a parent can make is to stop monitoring his/her child at a particular stage in life, thinking they can not be influenced by any negative thing.
One has come to discover that there is no reason why you should stop monitoring their progress as they grow in life.
When we talked about monitoring, we mean, paying close attention to every thing they do, especially when they begin to do things alone .
Also, there is need to pay close attention to them when they are using phone, tablet or when they are making use of a laptop, and are all Internet connected.
Consequences of not monitoring your children are:
1.online bullying; when a child is used to browsing the net anytime without supervision,, there is every tendency the child might face cyberbullying, which might be harmful to them.

2. Poor academic performance: the child becomes relaxed when he knows nobody is monitoring him, therefore, he will not take his studies serious again which might lead to failure.

3. Gambling: the child might start getting involved in gambling, which might result to losing money excessively.

4. Exposure to inappropriate content online, which night be dangerous for them.

5. Exposure to cultism and drugs: due to lack of monitoring, children are easily introduced to cultism and drugs.

By monitoring our children well, we can help mitigate against any negativity that might come across there part.
