There has not been significant movement in the FX market. This is perhaps due to the political wrangling in the US. Market participants are cautious and are probably waiting for things to stabilize before committing their funds.

With the Dollar currently trading lower against other major and even exotic currencies, will the swearing-in of Biden change that? In our opinion, we do not see the Dollar strengthening any soon no matter who is in power.

There is so much uncertainty politically, the stimulus package is likely to be signed by Biden when he comes in. The United State balance of trade is at an all-time low. This is even made worse by the rising case of covid-19 even with a vaccine being found.

It is therefore important to be careful when trading the Dollar pairs.
