Early.Rise Lesson.Learnt;

The Four Candles

The four candles burns slowly. The ambiance was so soft you could hear them talking.

The first one said, “I am Peace! however nobody can keep me lit. I believe, I will go out.”

It’s flame rapidly diminishes and goes out completely.

The second one says, “I am Faith! Most of all, I am no longer indispensable, so it doesn’t make any sense that I stay lit any longer.”

When it finished talking, a breeze softly blew on it putting it out.

Sadly, the third candle spoke in its turn: “I am love! I haven’t got the strength to stay lit. People put me aside and don’t understand my importance. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them.”

And waiting no longer it goes out.

Suddenly…

A child enters the room and sees three candles not burning.

“Why are you not burning? You are supposed to stay lit till the end.”

Saying this, the child begins to cry.

Then the fourth candle said: “Don’t be afraid, while I am still burning we can re-light the other candles, I am Hope!”

With shining eyes, the child took the candle of hope and lit the other candles.

We heard greatly about FAITH, & LOVE but not on HOPE.
Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large. It's hope of a great tomorrow that stirs us to have FAITH.

When the world screems "GIVE UP" on that child or person.
GIVE UP that vision or Dream.
HOPE whispers TRY ONE TIME.

It's hope of change that causes us to LOVE someone who erred towards us.

The exclamation ONE DAY is a phrase of Hope.
ONE DAY, your success will be so LOUD that those who left you will start advertising you.
ONE DAY, heaven will be so real that you wish you took your salvation seriously.
ONE DAY, things will be alright.

It is HOPE that reorganises our FAITH & LOVE.

THE FLAME OF HOPE SHOULD NEVER GO OUT FROM YOUR LIFE.

Keep the flame of HOPE burning and see the other flames of LOVE & FAITH never gone off in your life.

Victory Without Me or Men Involved.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. – Hos 1:7

What a Precious word. God Himself will deliver His people in the greatness of His mercy, but He will not do it by ordinary means. This is because:

Most times Men are slow to render to you the blessing(s) God has given you. It's also a known truth that sometimes where we expect our blessings to come turns out disappointing and this shuts the Glory you will render to God which is due unto Him.

I have also realized that If we go to battle with our sword and bow (strategies, plans) and win the victory we ought to ascribe and praise God with, we begin to magnify our own right arm, intellect, abilities and glory in our horses(skills) and horsemen ( contacts, associations).

For this reason our God often determines to save His people without second means, that all the honor may be to Himself alone. Which is why we were admonished that - let him who wants to boast, boast in the Lord... (1Cor 1:31) - not in Self.

DECLARE THIS;

Look, then, my heart, to the Lord alone and not to man nor to my skill set .
Look, then my heart, stop trying to be in control of the outcomes of your life, it gets in the way of God's interventions in my life.

I hence Expect to see God all the more clearly when there is no one else to look to. If I have no friend, no adviser, no one at my back, no dearest love, let me be none the less confident that the Lord Himself is on my side; yea, let me be glad as He gives victory without battle. He gives Victory without me involved.

I REFUSE to trust or wait on horses and horsemen when God Himself has mercy upon me and has lifted up His arm for my defense!
I REFUSE to trust or boast on the bow or sword when God will save me Himself.

God show me Your Mercy and shine Your salvation upon your life, in Jesus name, Amen.

UNDERSTANDING SEASONS AND TIMES.

There is a flower called the SCARLET PIMPERNEL that can forecast the weather. If the flower is closed up, rain is coming and if it is opened up, the day will be sunny. It's also known as the poor man's weather glass. Now, you may be wondering why God will give one of His creation that assignment: to alert humanity of climatic changes.
Why is it so important to Him?

You may not so realize this but the difference between success and failure is many thing but solely on SEASON or TIME. If you understand SEASONS & TIMING, knowing the right time to show up, fortune will smile at you.
For instance, if you know it's about to rain, your behavior adjusts, same as when you know it's soon be night - You do things differently when you understand changing times and seasons.

Likewise God expects you to know how to recognize and convert opportunity. Scripture is filled with men, women who recognize opportunity and converted them to their favor.

We are in a season like no other - its a season to get into a birth position for the waters are broken. It's the time again to get set and match.

WHY ENTREPRENEURS SHOULD GET USE TO REJECTION.

The first point in an entrepreneur’s job description should be ability to “handle rejection well.” I keep hearing stories of entrepreneurs or sales personnel's who are convinced they aren’t being taken seriously enough.

Truth be told, I probably did some of that complaining at the beginning too.😄

Don’t think that investors or sponsors just aren’t smart enough to appreciate the value of your business. It’s too easy to blame others for being ignorant, dumb or lazy than to be introspective about what it is about your business or presentation that isn’t resonating. But if you want to succeed and learn from your mistakes, introspection is key.

Here are a few points that hopefully serve as a reality check:

Prepare for rejection.

Unless you have major traction or a resume replete with huge successes, raising money (especially your first round) is a miserable experience. 😒

Almost every meeting or deals will be some form of rejection. Entrepreneurs like sales agents get rejected almost 98% of the time before their BIG breakthrough. This is happening not due to some external reason, but because there is a power dynamic between investor (has money) and entrepreneur (desperately needs money). The only way to change that is to change the power dynamic. Show enough traction or successes so that multiple investors will come to you.

If these success are absent things, prepare for rejections but never give up.

2. Remember that no one owes you his or her money or time.

You earn the right to those things by amassing social and reputational capital. Give before you ask. Find ways to help and impress people, and then ask for their time and introductions. If someone doesn’t want to help you, don’t write them off as a jerk, instead figure out how you can earn their attention. Have you watch the movie “The Pursuit of Happiness?” The actor Will smith has lots to say on this matter. 😄

3. Get used to people rejecting you.

Grow thick skin and learn to work through it. That someone said NO to you shouldn't stop you from believing in your dream. When you get rejected, use it as fuel to figure out how to win the next time. Figure out how to be more convincing and smarter the next time around.

4. Take rejection with grace.

Be humble enough to recognize that there is probably something to learn from the rejection. Believe it or not, those rejections are actually what sharpen you (and your pitch) for eventual success.

Finally, a way forward to us all is ENTREPRENEURSHIP. It will fast forward your life. , ... Selah!

At the interview to fill the vacancy of a Field Engineer in a multinational oil company, two competent and qualified Engineers were shortlisted and the company was to decide on who to retain and who to show the red card.
They asked them If they could drive and they both answered in the affirmative even though only one of them could drive. The Head of the
Human Resources spearheading the interview cm pruning session then handed his car keys to them to prove their driving skills within the premises.
The over-confident applicant collected the car key, opened the car, switched on the ignition, lighted it up, sped off, swirled, swerved and made some stunts on wheels before parking the car on the same spot to the seeming rousing applause and mischievously knowing smile of the interviewers. The other applicant
who could not drive collected the key all the same, opened the car, opened the bonnet, checked the engine oil level, the brake fluid level, the gear oil level and the water in the radiator level. As he closed the bonnet, the chief interviewer walked towards him and said: "Don't bother driving, you've just been hired!"
Precaution is more powerful than expertise!
The race is not for the swiftest, but to the wise! Don't be brash and over-confident. Learn the ropes and never back off from giving your best even If you don't possess what it takes.
That someone is doing it fast doesn't mean he is doing it right! Direction is more important than speed! Exercise caution and take precaution in the journey of life- that's how to be recruited into the employment of success...

If marry for the wrong reason, you will end up marrying the wrong person...

When Jacob was told that his brother, Esau, who had sworn to kill him, was coming to meet him with four hundred men, he was justifiably afraid and distressed. However, he prayed to God for deliverance, reminding Him of His covenant with his father.
Several things happened to Jacob as a result of this prayer. After he prayed, God changed his name from Jacob to Israel (Genesis 32:28).

Prayer can rename a situation or an individual, and it can also terminate the regime of an evil era induced by a bad name or bad circumstances.

When prayer ends a bad name or negative situation, there will no longer be any reason to call the fellow by the former name.
God told Jacob “From today, nobody will call you that name again.” As soon as He said it, every reproach the name had attached to him was completely erased. Royalty took over from there.

From today, you shall no longer be called barren!
You shall no longer move around in circles. You shall no longer labour without receiving a commensurate harvest.
From today, sorrow, tears and disappointment have ended in your life! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Beside this, prayer gave Jacob power with God and helped him prevail over the anger of his brother.

To subdue impossible human situations, you need power with God. The extent to which you can control life will be determined by the power you have with God, because it’s God who subdues men under you (Psalm 47:3)... Selah!

Whenever you pray intensely from your heart, power is produced. The power that prayer generates can be channelled towards achieving any goal

When you pray effectively concerning your business, the power to succeed in it is released to you. If you are struggling in your studies, you need to pray intensely, and the power to enable you all that you should do to succeed in your academics will be released.

If you are struggling in your prayer life... You need to be revived, else situations will overwhelm you. Here is an opportunity to build up your prayer life; simply indicate by saying- "power-with-God" and I will contact you with details.

How To Leave A Legacy.

Next to our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, I guess the most significant personality associated to global influence and fame is Santa Claus - the gift courier that kids idolize all round the globe when its Christmas.

What most people don't know however is, the origin of Santa Claus. The name belongs to saint Nicholas, the Bishop of a church in Myra who was known for his affectionate love for children.

A simple passion had made him for the whole of human history immortalized. He will never be forgotten in the hearts of children even generations unborn. Your assets, as important and enviably desired by many won't matter if you want to leave a legacy. It is your deeds toward human life.

Nobody will be remembered by the cars he drove, houses he built and owned but for the lives of people he touched or blessed. Even if your house is full of plaques with your name on it or perhaps your name is written at the back of seats you donated, you will still be history.

You don't need to have a great name nor belong in a royal family to leave a legacy. Think of Dorcas who made cardigans for poor families during the winter or Philip who surrendered his 5 loaves to Jesus to feed the hungry multitude. Believe me, wherever the gospel is preached their names will always pop up.

The saying "Experience is a great teacher" is a remarkable truth when,

1. the universe sees we can only understand some aspect of life lessons through the hard way... And,

2. When we learn life lessons or gain life qualifications by the mistake we have made.

In the passage of my short existence on earth, i have realised that experience will only be too happy to teach very painful lessons to those who refuse to learn from the mistakes of others or their mistakes.

It will also be glad to leave them with consequences which they'll live to regret or consequences which they'll live to be proud of.

There's a reason God allowed the mistakes of so many people to be recorded in the bible. Read and study the experience of these men and women whom the scripture have illustrated their strengths and weaknesses and be wise.
Below are some key lessons i have dragged out from some of them and want to share with you:

MOSES LESSON:
A moment of PATIENCE in a moment of ANGER will save you moments of REGRETS... !

NEHEMIAH'S LESSON:
Everything around me is temporal, only my calling and my passion for it will last forever... !

JESUS' LESSON:
There is no strong person of worth with an easy life... !
