This book really opened my eyes to the truth that growth does not happen automatically; it must be intentional. As teachers, we are constantly helping children grow, but this book reminds us that we must also be deliberate about our own personal and professional growth.

One major lesson I learned is the importance of being an intentional learner. The author explains that many people fail to grow, not because they lack potential, but because they are unfocused, afraid of mistakes, waiting for the perfect time, or not willing to pay the price for growth. This made me reflect on how easy it is to become busy with daily teaching activities without intentionally improving myself.

Another powerful lesson is self-awareness. The book emphasizes that we must know our strengths, weaknesses, interests, and present level before we can truly grow.
