In a significant humanitarian gesture, the people of Umueze Awkunanaw community and neighbours are set to benefit from a comprehensive free health and spiritual outreach, powered by Ekwochi family and friends.
The programme, tagged "Total Health 2025 (Season 1)", is an initiative of the Ekwochi Family and Friends, powered by the successful and philanthropic vision of Prof. Uchenna Ekwochi, the founder of the "Stop Asphyxia Movement" in Enugu.
Scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at the Umueze Christian Union Hall, Ndiagu Umueze Awkunanaw, the outreach aims to provide a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the needs of the body, soul, and spirit.
Inspired by a deep-seated desire to give back to their roots, Ekwochi family and friends are leveraging on their expertise and connections in the field of medicine to bridge the healthcare gap for the rural populace. The event will offer residents a golden opportunity to access a range of medical services at no cost.
Services to be provided include free medical health checks, comprehensive laboratory tests, and treatments for various ailments. Beyond physical health, the programme will also feature a session of spiritual revival, underscoring the theme of total well-being as encapsulated in the biblical verse 3 John: 2: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
