Longevity is not merely the accumulation of years; it is the quiet testimony of endurance, purpose, and grace.

My grandparents - Nna Uka Kalu & Nma Oyidiya Uka did not just live long—they lived fully. Grandpa walked this earth for 115 years and Grandma has passed away at104, each day they lived added weight to life well carried.

Their years remind us that time is not granted equally, nor is it owed. It is given—sometimes sparingly, sometimes generously—but always with intention. To live long is a gift; to live long with meaning is a blessing.

May their lives teach us patience with time, reverence for aging, and gratitude for every sunrise we are allowed to witness.

Longevity, when touched by grace, becomes a quiet sermon: that life, when lived with depth, does not rush to its end.
