WHY IS X/0 UNDEFINED ?

Rational numbers they say are numbers that can be represented as ratio of two Integers. When ever the ratio of two numbers (Not necessarily integers), is taken, it gives an output called "Quotient".

Kindly note: When ever the denominator is greater than the numerator, the Quotient is less than 1, but if the denominator is less than the numerator, the Quotient is greater than 1. (Considering Positive numbers)

Look at these:
100÷100 = 1
100÷50 = 2
100÷40 = 2.5
100÷25 = 4
100÷10 = 10
100÷5 = 20
100÷2 = 50

What did you notice? As the denominators kept decreasing, the output which is Quotient increases.
Furthermore, 100÷1 = 100
100÷0.1 = 10³
100÷0.01 = 10⁴
100÷0.001 = 10⁵
100÷0.0001 = 10⁶
100÷0.00001 = 10⁷
100÷0.000001 = 10⁸
100÷0.0000001 = 10⁹
100÷0.00000001 = 10¹⁰
100÷0.000000001 = 10¹¹
100÷0.0000000001=10¹²

If you go on and on, you will notice that the smaller the denominator, the bigger the result.
Imagine what 100÷0.00000000000000000000000001 would look like. It will definitely be a large number.
It shows you that if it eventually becomes 100÷0, You can't define nor Quantify the number.
