OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF CULTURE AND TOURISM NANS PAID A SOLIDARITY/ FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO ENUGU STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE.

On the 15th of June 2021 the National Director of culture and tourism NANS Comr.Chidi Nzekwe paid a familiarization visit to the new Commissioner of police Enugu state CP Mohammed Aliyu.

Speaking at the meeting Comr. Nzekwe thanked the Commissioner for granting his team audience, stressing that the visit is of Paramount importance considering the terrible security challenges in the country presently Hence, the need to familiarize and collaborate with him in ensuring the safety of Enugu state students at large.
He also pledged support to the commissioner stating that security is now everymans buisness so therefore he is readily available to render help in any form neccessary to curtail the menance.

Responding to the team the Commisioner expressed his utmost pleasure stating that he was a staunch member/great fan of NANS who also cherish the company of youths.

He urged the team and all Nigerian students to remain focused and commited to a better future and do away with all social vices ranging from smoking,prostitution,robbery,violence,protest, thuggery etc which is now the order of the day in our campuses.

Finally he rendered words of blessing and prayer,wishing the directorate a succesful admintration and also promised to be accessible to the team when ever they feel like coming.

The national director of Culture and Tourism NANS, Comr.Chidi Nzekwe on the 4th of June 2021 led a delegation of his team to a courtesy/ familiarization visit to the Vice Chancellor of UNN, Prof.Charles Igwe.

Speaking at the meeting, Comr.Chidi thanked the Vice Chancellor for his accessibility and hospitality, stressing that the visit is of importance considering that UNN is his ALMA MATER hence the need to identify himself with the school administration to create a synergy that will help improve the welfare of UNN students and discharge of his duties as the National director of culture and Tourism NANS.

The vice Chancellor in his speech expressed his gladness and also congratulated him for his new position. He also pledges his support for the activities of the directorate and advises that he should be diligent in his dealings, stressing that he should not allow his office to be used as an instrument of propaganda by unpatriotic Nigerians. The Vice Chancellor also said a word of prayer and blessed the new National Director, encouraged the directorate to be law abiding in discharging their duties for the best interest of Nigerian students and Nigeria at large

Also In attendance were the Dean of students affairs, Prof. Edwin Omeje, the Registrar, Barr. Chris Igbokwe and staffs from the office of the VC.
