She brought her little baby to class!

This is so heartwarming, the length Irisfield parents can go for their children. Thank you ma for going out of your way!

In a world filled with screens, distractions, and fast information, one gift we can give our children that will never go out of relevance is the habit of reading.
Reading is not just about passing exams. It builds imagination, confidence, vocabulary, concentration, creativity, empathy, and critical thinking. A child who reads widely becomes a child who thinks deeply β€” and a child who thinks deeply can succeed anywhere in the world.
At Irisfield School, we believe that readers become leaders. This is why our Book Fair is more than just buying books β€” it is an opportunity to nurture curiosity, expose children to new ideas, and help them discover the joy of stories and knowledge.
When children choose their own books, they develop ownership of learning. When parents participate, they send a powerful message: reading matters in this family.

Together we are raising thinkers, innovators and the future our world.

🌱✨ Why The Irisfield School Chose the Full Montessori Path

At The Irisfield School, we are intentional about how children grow, learn, and thrive. That’s why we chose a full Montessori approach β€” because it nurtures every aspect of a child’s development.

βœ… Independence & Confidence – We believe children flourish when trusted to explore, make choices, and discover their own abilities.
βœ… Love for Learning – Our classrooms are filled with hands-on experiences that ignite curiosity and a lifelong passion for knowledge.
βœ… Respect & Community – With mixed-age learning, children naturally grow in empathy, responsibility, and leadership.
βœ… Holistic Development – Montessori goes beyond academics, shaping children into creative thinkers, problem-solvers, and balanced individuals.

At Irisfield, Montessori is not just a method β€” it’s our commitment to raising confident, compassionate, and capable learners for life.

Mrs. Ibezimako we won!
My group won!
Mrs. Ibezimako, I helped them win!
That joyous voice nearly made me cry! I dropped a tear as I savoured the joy written all over her face. Kimberley is one beautiful soul I have in Year 2. She hasn't been really very strong in mental math, so this term I persuaded her mum to allow her to join the remedial classes and have her picked up later after school. Well, to cut the long story short, we battled with mental math and now she has become so confident in mental math that during their weekly mental maths contest, she was actively working out the sums in her head like other children! She has never been more thrilled in her life!

I loved the look on her face as she reported that she was in the winning team! Please, let's celebrate Kimberly!
