Inibehe Effiong Reports Release of Businesswoman Detained Over Bread Review

Ms. Love Dooshima, a businesswoman who recently made a review about an “unarmed bread,” has been released from police custody at the Zone 7 Police Headquarters.

According to reports, the issue began after Bon Bread filed a complaint against her, prompting an invitation from the police. She reportedly honoured the invitation around 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, but was subsequently detained.

A distress alert later surfaced, raising concerns about her continued detention. The information was shared by human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong, who also confirmed that he visited the Zone 7 facility alongside MamaPee and Randy-Peter Akah.

Following the intervention of the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, Ms. Dooshima was released at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Further developments are expected as those involved have indicated plans to return to the police headquarters later in the day.
