Dear teacher/ parents, How do you bring this child to terms with the right thing to do?

Here's is it...teach practical rules ✅
Make the child understand that even though letter "c" and "k " make the same sound, the vowel that follows either of them determines whether it will spelt with 'k ' or 'c'.

vowel ''a'', ''o'' and ''u''will go with ''c''🎯

Example: cat
cot
cut


While "e" and "i" will go with the letter "k". 🎯🎯
Example: kid
kettle
keep

Note: When we have letter "e" coming after a "c", it changes the "c " to sound /s/
