The school, Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Emure Ekiti founded by the Apostolic Faith Church,Emure Ekiti, formally opened for academic activities on Monday, September 24 2007. The school kick-started its first-ever academic session with corps of 12 members and the staff (10 teaching staff and 2 non-teaching staff), headed by Mr Ayorinde Ayeni, a retired school Principal. It took off on a temprary site at the Apostolic Faith Church premises along Ogbotitun Street, Oke-Ope,Emure-Ekiti.A spacious room upstairs in one of the church buildings housed the JSS One class of 17 students (12 boys and 5 girls). From its inception, the school operated day and boarding system. Boarders are accommodated in the hostel provided by the school with a conducive living environment. The school after its take-off, rolled out a document which embodies the VISION and MISSION STATEMENT of the institution. it spells out the policy which aims at repositioning the school system, focussing essentially on moral and functional education typified by its emphasis on BEST QUALITY EDUCATION WITH THE FEAR OF GOD. For the school, that it has been a humble beginning, is only saying the obvious. The school now parades a crop of well-qualified and well-paid teachers who believe in the claim of the school that students can do well in examinations both internal and external without engaging in any form of examination malpractices or sharp practices. The first set of students presented for the 2013 May/June WAEC SSCE and the 2013 May/June NECO SSCE has proved that the claim is difficult to fault. The quality of teaching and commitment of teachers to work ethicshave been amply demostrated by the good performance of our students in the SSCE, UTME and the POST-UTME. Some of our students have been addmitted into reputable universities thus justifying our claim to Unversity Admission Prospects. The school curriculum is robust in both the junior and senior sections. In JSS 1-3 the following subjects are taught by well-qualified and competent teachers:
