The visit aimed to familiarize the delegation with our facilities and explore potential partnership opportunities.

Ably represented by Capt. Ayodele, Head of Flight Operations, and Capt. Remi, Head of Flight Training Standards, the team expressed admiration for our cutting-edge infrastructure and rigorous training standards.

At IHFS, our expert team is dedicated to not only teaching students how to fly but also empowering them to achieve excellence in flight training.

We are beyond excited to share the incredible journey of our first group of international students from Burkina Faso, who have now officially graduated from our prestigious Helicopter Flying School! 🎓🌍

Over the course of a year filled with dedication and hard work, these eight talented individuals have undergone rigorous training, mastering both the theoretical and practical aspects of helicopter aviation. 🚁✨ They have collectively accumulated over 1750 hours of flight time on the renowned Robinson R66 Turbine Helicopter, honing their skills to perfection.

With their achievements, they have earned themselves Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Instrument, and Night ratings, making them truly versatile and accomplished pilots. ✅ But their journey didn’t stop at the flight deck. They also embraced the vibrant Nigerian culture and experienced the awe-inspiring beauty of Enugu and its surroundings, creating memories that will last a lifetime. 🌍❤️

Now, equipped with their newfound expertise and cultural enrichment, they return to their homeland, ready to take on the skies above the land of the upright man. 🌟 We couldn’t be prouder of their remarkable accomplishments and the bright future that lies ahead for each of them.

FIRST ATPL(H) TRAINING IN NIGERIA ONGOING IN THE SCHOOL

The International Helicopter Flying School Enugu is conducting its first Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Helicopter) as an Approved Training Organization (ATO). This is one of the shortest-stay trainings provided by the school. Interestingly, it is the first ATPL(H) training by an ATO in Nigeria. We are therefore available for continuous helicopter pilot trainings for the achievement of the highest standards and safety through experience and quality training for our the aviation industry. Notwithstanding, applicants for the ATPL(H) training will need to already hold a CPL(H) with a multi-pilot helicopter type rating (1000 hours as PIC), be at least 21 years old and have a Category 1 medical certificate. Additionally requirements is 1,500 hours of total flight time amongst others.
