Theodore Roosevelt said something striking. He said, "there has not yet been a person in our history who led a life of EASE whose name is worth remembering".

EASE is a silent killer of great potentials.

Instead of attaining greatness, EASE thinks of smallness.

Instead of Commitment, EASE thinks of Convenience and Comfort.

Instead of service, EASE thinks of being served.

Sometimes, EASE is intoxicated with the comfortable lifestyle of "ONLY ME"; the poverty-stricken, pathetic and wretched life of living for "ONLY ME". 😢

Still on EASE, the Bible says something worth pondering on.

It says, "Woe to those who are at EASE in Zion and to those on the mountain of Samaria WHO ARE CARELESS AND FEEL SECURE,..." (Amos 6:1; AMP)

Friends, success is not a blooming rose flower 🌹 that grows in an easy life. Success grows in the midst of the difficulty of life.

But our solace is this:

In-between the commotion and turmoil, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil because God is with us (Immanuel). (Psalms 23:4a)

In all, rest in His Word. Open your heart, hide this truth there and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

Like the Biblical David who refused to give in to EASE, that silent action of hiding the eternal truth in your heart has a way of making your Goliath fall flat before you, in no time.
