The importance of giving during this Christmas season cannot be overstated. There is no doubt that most Nigerians are going through a particularly difficult season. It is therefore an important time for spreading joy and goodwill, and for ensuring that everyone can experience the warmth and happiness of the holiday. Giving back during this season helps to bring happiness to those who may be less fortunate and in need of support. It also brings people and communities closer together, reminding us that we are connected by our humanity, compassion, and kindness.
There are many ways to give back during the Christmas season, including donating money to local charities, volunteering your time to help those in need, donating items such as food, clothing, and toys, and spreading positivity and cheer to those who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Giving back during the Christmas season not only benefits those who receive your help, but it can also have positive effects on your own well-being.
Studies have shown that those who give generously and volunteer their time to help others have lower blood pressure, live longer, and tend to be happier. Seriously consider what you can give, even bringing good cheer is invaluable to someone.
