2. Ambiguity of "Employability": The term "employable" can have varying interpretations. Does it mean graduates are employed within a specific period after graduation, or does it refer to their preparedness for the job market? A lack of clear definition leaves room for doubt.

Absence of Comparative Data: Bishop Oyedepo stated that Covenant University tops the list of Nigerian universities with employable graduates, but no supporting rankings or reports from recognized bodies were cited. This omission raises questions about how the institution compares with its peers.

4. Economic Context: Nigeria's high unemployment rate, particularly among graduates, adds a layer of complexity. For Covenant University to maintain such a high employability rate, it would need to demonstrate how it addresses systemic challenges in the labor market.

While Covenant University’s focus on leadership development and problem-solving skills is laudable, experts emphasize the need for detailed and independently verified data to reinforce such claims. Transparent reporting, including graduate tracking and employer feedback, could strengthen the credibility of the university's achievement.

As debates continue, the spotlight remains on Covenant University to provide further evidence that its graduates are not only employable but are consistently excelling in the competitive job market.
