📌 JAMB GIVES 3 REASONS YOUR NAME MAY BE MISSING FROM THE MATRICULATION LIST
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has explained three major reasons why candidates may not find their names on the matriculation list.
Here are the reasons you should check:
1️⃣ You have not accepted your admission on JAMB CAPS
Your admission status may still be showing “Not Admitted”, or you may have failed to accept the admission offered to you.
👉 If this applies to you, return to your institution and complete the necessary admission process.
2️⃣ Your institution has not forwarded your verified matriculation details to JAMB
In some cases, the candidate may have completed the admission process, but the institution has not yet sent the verified matriculation details to JAMB.
👉 Contact your school’s Admission Office for clarification.
3️⃣ You have not printed your JAMB Original Result Slip and Admission Letter
JAMB advised candidates to ensure they have printed both documents.
👉 Visit the nearest JAMB office or approved CBT centre to print the required documents.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: JAMB stated that while Reason 1 is the most common, Reason 3 is the most important.
If your name is missing from the matriculation list, check all three areas and take the necessary steps to resolve the issue.
